It looks like Ekta is finally doing different stuff. Good for her. I staRted watching YHM in Jan, but the mothers OTT Tamil accent put me off. But now that you guys are giving it good reviews I wish I could watch it. I'm bed on most days by 10-10.30 as I need to be up 5.30 to leave for work. So it is impossible for me to keep up with the show.

Oh my is that FLS I see. I am jumping with joy! Where are you these days? 🤗 You busy bee! I am avoiding most forums, especially the ones with the raging fandoms. YHM and JLZ are very tame so I stick to them. I also frequent PSF and BW. Nothing else for me. At least thanks to these forums I know that not all is lost in the world. There is still hope.

VD only just lost the show so no biggie but someone please get BS a show. He needs it, looks down in the dumps. If BW is not working for him he can return to t.v. it's what he knows to do.

I am watching RR and YHM on the weekends I am still stuck at the court stage Have had no time after that so I am studiously trying to avoid spoilers that are rotten but I hear a satyanash is about to happen with the child chosing mum so that is ok for the story has to be sustained
MB was a phase when IPK got over and I got fascinated by Indian Soaps I used to chose a track a time and watch but never could watch that bloody gopi bahu serial her flaring nostrils scared me Yes I am shallow 😆 same reason I could not watch Tumhari Pakki although friends said it would be right up my alley as also BI and BV The current anandhi delivers dialogues as if someone has let off a fart and she has to speak whilst her olfactory senses are being assailed by that smell Augh
and DABH the female lead is too constipated her laughing crying speaking all seem the same no life in them and for me for any serial to work BOTH leads have to act
that is why I like RR and YHM

Ah please don't remind me of Bubbli. Indian serials ruin children for me. Ruhi is a sweetheart and of course the portrayal of kids in NBT was great too.

I know what you mean, it's why I avoid shows like QH and BI for their portrayal of Muslims. Apart from the mother, the other characters such as the female lead, her father, and her sisters have normal accents so that made up for the mother. They have also done well to show the culture. Otherwise, they have stereotyped the Punjabis too but they are fun so I am taking it lightly. I watch the show online because I don't have satellite. Ekta surprised me with all the social issues that were raised and presented them well. The female lead is not a pushover, she is a self-made, working woman who stands up for what she believes is right. It's a refreshing change. A major reason for why I am watching it.
