I actually find that depressing...kids just want to speak English with each other.

But hang on, they must speak Hindi at home with their parents, right?

yeah i always talk in nepali with my relatives because that is how i have been brought up

my mom made sure to talk in nepali with us so that we could pick up the language fast !

Dude,you live in Mumbai, it is either Marathi or English for many.

No one is good in Hindi here until and unless you have northern roots.
