I honestly don't get it. I had posted the link to a post of a girl in the MB forum saying that she hadn't been able to sleep in days and she had been sending a 1000 tweets a day to Colors and the producers of MB to prevent VD from leaving. My goodness - how does someone get so invested in a show. Of course I was sad when IPK ended - I wouldn't pretend I didn't care about the show - actually just as much about the lively, vibrant discussion around the show in THAT forum.

But I slept well enough, ate my food and moved on. If they end RR tomorrow I'll be sad too but my life wouldn't be over. But I guess I'm not 14 so I don't get it. But you know what, even at 14 I wouldn't have been fangirling like this over a tv show. At 14 I remember crying for 2 days over reading Dostoevsky's White Nights but I'm sure I'll cry for 2 days even if I read it now. OK so I guess we all pick our poison. For some it is Vampy D'sena, for some it is Dostoevsky's Raskolnikov.

I just watched first part of Jai Ho and could not go on.

Looks like whole cast is ofTV and ex- big boss stars.

Boy O boy, i think none of us will ever get emotionally involved in quitting and shutting down show fiasco, we have to thank Bhaiyya for that, but he did start a trend.

Haha umz even better we shouldn't watch shows at all and stick to sports and music and sigh I was better two years back when I did not watch a single show

Same here, I was oblivious to Desi shows, never had Indian channels , and IF happened , then had to watch IPK.😡

What a blasphemy, Swati! You took Raskolnikov and VD's name together in the same breath? I think you are sleep deprived and over worked. I forgive you for committing such a blasphemy.

I mean we are talking about Crime and Punishment. We are talking about Dostoevsky. They have made an indelible mark in history. Who's VD? Or RK?

I am not sure if I was ever so emotionally involved in any book/ show. Not even when I was 14.I watch the shows, enjoy them and when they get over I do feel bad but it won't be the end of the world for me. As I am sure is the case with most of us.

And why blame the teenagers only? The supposedly mature audience isn't any better either.
I think they are worse than these infatuated , impressive teenagers.

Prabba: My friends have made my life hell thanks to Salman's debacle called Jai Ho. He better do something ASAP to redeem himself. I am getting bashed/ teased left and right for being a Salman fan.
