Want to clarify that I don't mean to offend any DD fans...but the truth is her character wasn't extraordinary in any way in this show...especially once she welcomed RK back into her life post unwedding and the desire to avenge the betrayal vanished into thin air..(i was majorly disappointed with Madhu back then)...her character has seemed content playing happy families ever since.

My point... there's a deeper back story to one that's being served as the reason for VD's exit...and another thing...the TOI article re-stressed on things turning sour between DVD offscreen...is it relevant to the matter at hand?

P.S ...and why are the CVs making a mad dash to the leap...RK will probably return home on Monday and according to spoilers his track will be wrapped up by end of next week!!?? Even VD was asked about the same and his reply was "the creatives feel that it's in the best interest of the show"😕...i fail to see how?? the makers and the channel seem to be in a real hurry to get rid of RK

Banhnni: the TOI artocle Anita posted only mentioned abt leaves..not about souring relations between DVD
amd as far as I know, there are many shows where the leads dont see face to face offscreen and yet the same pair goes on for years onscreen. I dont think actors/PH take such huge decisons based on interpersonal relations of leads alone

What confuses me is that they didnt offer a young role to VD(or am I misunsterstanding Abhinav Shukla's IV can someone please clarify). There was no way he was going to continue to play a 40-50+ oldie right now. But if there was any twouble between the two (PH and VD) then AS's answers about wanting to work with VD in other shows or movies refutes it.
Plus they are killing RK now as VD doesnt want to stay post leap..so they would have killed him and offered VD to play young role too na to make him saty back

Add to all this the movie rumors nd that leaves me a confused soul

It seems as if we dont know a lot
maybe they decided to come out with this version of story and maybe both wanted to end the association for their reasons


And you can and everyone who is a part of the CC can say anything here
besides I dont think amyone would contest about MAdhu role being meh..it was..esp in oast few months..no two ways abt it

am watching the press conference video up on YT now...with AS & VD...and I giggled at VD's kind of affirmative response to a reporter's prediction that the show's ratings will dip further post RK's exit...I mean COME ON...that's as certain as the fact that the sun will rise tomorrow but AS was quick to refute that statement 😆...waiting for the last part now.

as for rating..they are pathetic right now to say the least
as AS said..MB is juiced out..thanks to him and his team
and he didnt care all this while coz they were busy with RR
and it didnt work so they are back to extract more juice from the juiced out show

I dunno how colors manages to retain MB with such low trps
RR's wouod probably rise slowly now with the entry of typical family and leads proabably being misunderstood to play a married couple

Its only the fans who lose out in this coz Nautanki and actors have got what they wanted to from the show
but thanks to this negligence, its fans who suffer

things dont add up at all

the PH goes on about loving RK and enjoying working with VD and claiming that its RM that worked and by extension DVD, yet they dont offer a younger role to VD. I am sure they knew that he wont play father to a grown up kid at this age and this juncture of his career and given the name and popularity he has

I do agree with Anita..it is a cover up..either for a tiff between VD and PH/channel (PH unlikely as AS, GH have been speaking well abt him unless that is hog wash too) or VD wanting to leave for better opportunities (though he denied having one on hand)

I still dont get why the channel would gamble on losing him voluntarily if they really want the show to work
doesnt it make sense to retain the assets of the show , the lived pair and work with then rather than an uncertain entity, a new couple who might not work.


and in all this Nautanki arranges a cricket match among DDEJ, MB and RR
and everyone happily enjoys Republic day except heartbroken fans
