I want to see mother-son patch up and I guess I have to live with the debacle of Mohan Kundra's story. Yes, even now I was hoping for a twist that would reinstate RK's faith in his father.

soon is february-start mid or end is unknown..atleast to me

I hated what they did to Mohan Kundra
RK and Mohan Kundra relation was so so nice
so was Madhubala and Shamsher Mallik

one was turned into a cheating buffon and other into an uncaring absent dad

sigh.so much potential lost..and now it will become Uttran Part 2..just because they invested too much love into new baby and it doesnt seem to be giving equal returns

IKR...the father-child relationship has been completely hacked in this show. Don't forget Balraj in this whole mix as a father who wanted to kill his own flesh and blood or used his other child for target practice!

Only Radha, Bittuji and Madhu have been retained in the show post leap. I really hope they are able to bring a good male lead otherwise this show is gonna end soon.

Bittuji is staying back?

I dont care abt other characates except Rishbala and Bittuji
and to an extent Sikki
used to love Shamshe though and Padmini before the disaster called Sultan happened

as for new male lead..irrespective of who joins in, I doubt the show is going to reach heights again. its way past the peak. the only way it would have worked was both dd and vd being incarnated..either leaving wld be a big dent
besides knowing that they ended DDEJ withing a month of leap, I dunno how serious NF is

Dips and Sikky are out coz they would have to play old characters if a leap takes place. I guess they did not want to.

Channel might just be buying time to find another show to replace MEIEJ with this leap. They will try to drag it for 2-3 months and then close shop. In the meantime, they will find another show. Had heard rumors of a Gia Manek show starting sometime but dunno if these are just rumors or something concrete taking shape.

So Madhubapa is nt dying..oh man..i always wanted Madhubala to die and RK to live
if not that then both dying
though I am surprised DD wld agree to play a 40+ role.
looks like she might be thinking of hanging her boots after MB coz once someone plays an oldie its next to impossible to get a young role again

this sucks honestly even though I have stopped watching

Gia Manek..Gopi Vahu is coming back on colors
well i always found her meh

Ami, I think Madhu will die too. In today's episode, they hinted at a child Madhu and that is why DD is being retained. She will be the daughter of RM.

RK to be bumped off in Madhubala

With an 18-year leap, the TV show Madhubala" Ek Ishq Ek Junoon, will end Vivian Dsena's track as superstar RK. His on-screen family, including Sikandar Kharbanda and Seema Mishra will not be a part of the new storyline either. Only Drashti Dhami (Madhubala),Indresh Malik (Bittuji) and Shama Deshpande (as RK's mother) have been retained.

According to sources, the makers felt that the Madhu-RK love story had run its course. After the leap, Drashti will return as Madhu and RK's daughter.

There are also rumours that Vivian's alleged tantrums were the main reason behind this decision. Says a source, "That is not the only reason. We just felt the need for a new track. However, had he taken lesser leaves, the results would have been better." Karanvir Bohra and a few other actors have been approached to play the new male lead.

Producer Saurabh Tewary confirmed that the show is taking a leap and Vivian will no longer be a part of it.

as much as I think he used to take off often, the only leave of his that actually did affect the show was his sbb sponsoerd honeymoon that lead to the tussle between him and channel and Sultan being introduced as a potential lead
but then its not like they showed a brilliant storyline after Sullu drama when both leads were available for 2-3 months without a break

Mission Sapne sounds like a weekend show

Mission Sapne sounds like a weekend show

Recent back to back leaves might have been tagged on to the other ones taken as well. In the current track which has VD playing a double role, leave would have been inconvenient to handle. That is why Sikky - Dips roles were extended to cover up. I agree they did not show anything great during and after Sultan era.

I agree, MS can't be a daily show coz of its concept.

Hello girls ...quite obviously all are baffled with the news and me no different !

abt the TOI article and the quote ...I guess no one can deny that the recent leave fiasco had dented something behind the screen ...even though ST didnt mention it, IF article specifically mentioned dates of the leaves and such information cant be mere a guess work ...so media might have been tipped off abt this, not necessarily with the intention to malign the actors but media did project this image ...one thing is for sure that PH nor the channel was happy with the leaves this time...despite media hounding actors, not even once ST or anyone officially cleared the doubts nor actors commented on it ! . So obviously, it did play some part in the current state of the show with only one actor retained !

Makers apparently have lost interest n the show but channel doesnt want to give up on the time slot ...so they perhaps proposed the leap track and VD refused ...but DD was retained by giving her a younger role but VD thought otherwise or who knows he might not have been offered any young role ...Nonetheless, he is leaving for justified reasons ! ST and Co are giving another shot to continue the show till channel gives up.

abt the future, from the last night episodes, its pretty clear leap is coming up with RM daughter starting her journey with a new male lead ! ..So I feel Rishbala story will be given a proper closure ...most likely they will die together just a day or two before the leap handing over the baby to Radha and Bittu G ! ..It will indeed be a tragic ending

PS: Its just how I see the entire culmination of last 2 months ...Opinions can differ !
