Good news for Mohit Raina fans!!!

The dashing actor who is literally worshipped by many gullible Indians for his impressive and realistic portrayal of Lord Shiva in Life OK's Mahadev (Triangle Film Company), has apparently bagged a Bollywood project.

"Bollywood is the word, baby. That's the place to be", we are not saying it, the thought seems to be dominant in majority of actors working in the small screen space as of now.

Any TV actor you meet and talk aims to be the next big thing to splash on the 70mm.

After Sushant Singh Rajput, Rajeev Khandelwal, Ayushmann Khuranna and the latest Siddharth Shukla (who has signed a three film deal with Karan Johar's Dharma Productions), now comes the news of Mohit signing a big budget thriller film, apparently being produced by Eros Entertainment.

Mohit is excited about it but is yet to give a formal nod to the offer.

If the casting does go through it will be a major boost for this dashing Kashmiri boy who has won lots of accolades for his acting and drop-dead good looks. He has a very large feminine fan base.

However, if he does sign the dotted line, it could also spell an end to his Mahadev journey. Source have added that Mohit has always been careful of his image since he is playing a very important Hindu God. He is apparently not coming on record about his relationship with Mouni Roy for the same reason.

So the question would be is what kind of role will Mohit have in the film? If it is that of a playboy then will it not hurt the sentiments of his fans? Last time a TV mytho character had gained so much prominence was Nitish Bharadwaj (Krishna in old DD Mahabharat) and it is a well known fact that his strong God image had prevented him from striking gold on the big screen.

We hope such a happening does not embrace Mohit.

After proving his mettle in daily soaps, actor Gurmeet Choudhary seems to have developed a liking for reality shows. Having won the fifth season of Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa, the actor is currently seen with wife Debina Bonnerjee in Nach Baliye.

And, the latest buzz is that he will be seen in the fifth season of Colors' Fear Factor --- Khatron Ke Khiladi.

Says a source, "Gurmeet is a popular actor and he fits the format of the show perfectly. Others who are confirmed are actresses Pooja Gor and Mugdha Godse. IPL host Rochelle Maria Rao is also confirmed on the show."

Gurmeet refuted the buzz. "Not at all," said the actor.

We had earlier reported that actress Kratika Sengar, his co-actor in Punarvivaah, too, has been approached to be a part of the show.
