I don't think Raman would lose custody.. I think... they were would a twist in tale.. Like since Ruhi needs a motherly figure & Raman isn't married, they might favor towards Shagun but with a condition like.. if Raman gets married in so & so days or something like that.. I hate DBAH. But I used to watch it (not having a choice) when my in-laws used to watch it and used to laugh like crazy.

Because everyone in that serial are one expression ponies.

Sandhya always looks like she is about to sneeze but can't

Suraj always looks like he has to go to the bathroom but bhabho told him only once a week.

His dad looks like he just passed gas and is scared he will pee when his wife find out

And Bhabo looks like she is trying very hard to scare herself into non existence.

You have no idea, one episode was so bad it was so good I laughed so hard. At the logic. 😃
