Just read this article where it says KKK will go on air soon on colors:

"People can't associate me with 'Jhalak' or 'Nach Baliye'" : Rohit Shetty

Director Rohit Shetty, known for making action comedies, takes it forward as the host of TV adventure show Khatron Ke Khiladi Darr ka Blockbuster. He accepted the offer because he feels people can relate the show to him.

Director Rohit Shetty, known for making action comedies, takes it forward as the host of TV adventure show "Khatron Ke Khiladi". He accepted the offer because he feels people can relate the show to him.

Khatron Ke Khiladi Darr ka Blockbuster, an Indian adaptation of US show "Fear Factor", sees celebrities from different walks of life fighting their worst fears to win the title.

Asked what made him say 'yes' to the show, Shetty laughed and said: "Just imagine me sitting inKaran Johar's place and hosting 'Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa' or 'Nach Baliye'. People will not associate it with me."

"I thought this is one show where even I can give something rather than just sitting there. The whole format, and the earlier seasons that I have seen, I felt it's a grand show infused with action. I am quite excited about it," said Shetty.

This is not his first stint as a host of a reality show. The 40-year-old had previously hosted "Big Switch - Season 3" and was seen actively encouraging the contestants.

And in "Khatron Ke Khiladi" too he will try to help participants overcome their fears.

"I will definitely encourage them. And the biggest fear is what people will think of them if they are unable to do something. So, I will try and remove that fear (from their minds) - I'll tell them there is another day and they can improve," he said.

Celebrities like Ranvir Shorey, Gauahar Khan, Kushal Tandon, Mugdha Godse, Rochelle Maria Rao, Nikitin Dheer, Dayanand Shetty, Salman Yusuf Khan, Pooja Gor, Rajneesh Duggal, Gurmeet Choudhary, Debina Bonnerjee Choudhary and stunt woman Geeta Tandon will be seen in Khatron Ke Khiladi Darr ka Blockbuster, which will go on air on Colors in near future.

PR job ... they can't reveal anything abt KKK until it goes on air ... but winner news will get leak for sure like last time ... they try their best to hide ... and then their PR will work as per the episodes will go on air ... but as Gaushal needs to be in the news all the time hence this trend by PR

saw 3/4 of comedy nights with 3 bohjpuris.. was good as always... i dont see how nirahua (wrong spelling? no idea? ) is such a big star (in bhojpuri movies) with his looks and lack of height on top.. lol

@ccl link below - i saw but what did u expect - anyone who loves cricket wouldnt watch a match of ccl (let alone the series) ... not sure why u watching it but its like trying to get honey from a rubber tree if u thought it would be good.. lol

I do want to watch HTP...I really liked the promos. Will probably watch it this coming weekend :)

Jai Ho...actually everyone did act well (except Sana)...but something seemed amiss. Heard it crossed 100 crores finally...good!

Havent watched BB1...nor do I intend to. Don't care much abt Ravi Kishen :)

Has anyone here read "Earth's Children"? It is a series of fictional novels written by Jean M Auel. Read it 10 yrs ago and still continues to be my all-time fav! I had read the first 5 in the series...was waiting for the 6th...and somehow missed it when it released in 2011. I need to quickly get that book from the library or wherever else I can find it. Do have an eBook version of that novel...but it's not fun reading it that way. Also, have totally forgot the plot from the series. So back to Book 1 of the 6 series novels :)

Who watched Anushka on KWK?
What did that girl do to herself? She had such a pretty smile...pretty dimples...something is wrong now.
She was so uncomfortable through out the show...and so so sooo boring!

This time around KWK episodes are not as entertaining as they were earlier.

me ...damn she has ruined her face , eventually her career too ...

i felt she was uncomfortable bcz of her face , she is insecure , now she is insecure i can get bcz other girls r going ahead of her and she is not getting movies bcz of her face but before the plastic surgery why she was insecure ? she was doing well ... no one is that kind of beautiful , not even deepika but none shld touch god given features ... which idiot told her she is not beautiful and shld go under the knife ???? she was pretty much ok and better than prineeti

after her plastic surgery she has not signed any movie ( only one just now with Ranveer after a year ) ...PK , bombay velvet r old movies , BV is sure shot flop and PK is aamir khan movie

after the epi , on twitter ppl were making the fun of her lips and then she tweeted this , another mistake ... now ppl r laughing at her more ...

Hellooo everyone !! Today I am here to talk about my lips !! Yes ! There ! I said it .. My lips !
As a person I find it difficult to talk about my personal life and hence have always maintained a low profile choosing to interact with you all on twitter with my random -mostly illogical thoughts seeming like the only thing I feel ok about ..that's just who I am .. But in today's time where PR stories and feeding people with information constantly or making appearances is a fad somewhere people like me get lost in translation or in this case translations !
Lately there has been a LOT of talk about me in this particular episode of KOffee with Karan . Mainly regarding my lips . I am here to just convey what I have to say regarding the same . I am talking about it only because this story has taken a scary direction and things have been 'blown out of proportion' ( pun intended ;) ) ...
For a short while now I have been using a temporary lip enhancing tool and that along with make up techniques ( I have learnt over the years) is the reason why there might be a change in the appearance of my lips. Having stated this fact let me very vehemently assure everyone that I have by no means gone 'under the knife ' or done any kind of 'plastic surgery' or undergone any intrusive procedure . This was my decision and was done for the sake of my look in my upcoming film Bombay velvet,a period drama where I play a jazz singer in the 1960's - 70's . And it was taken from the referencing of that time .

The drastic change in my appearance on KWK is due to lot of factors put together and not just my lips . Everyone goes through good and bad days. Did I think I looked good on the KWK episode ? NO . I do feel I could have done things differently .
To put the current conjectures and reportage straight once and for all from my end - I have said this before and am saying it again .. I do not believe in plastic surgery or any other means of unnatural permanent changes to the body . I do not support it or stand for it or recommend it .
Now if someday my legs appear different and sexy to you ! Please don't say I've done 'Something' ...
Oh ! And also ... Some of the 'joker' jokes/memes doing the rounds though a bit mean did bring a smile to my lips ;)
Goodnight to all
Love and Light
Anushka

The first book in the series is titled "Clan of the Cave Bear". The story setting is based on prehistoric times. I only remember vaguely, but it starts off with a little girl Ayla who gets orphaned in an earthquake and then attacked by a lion. She is saved by a clan who too is the lookout for a new cave after the earthquake destroys theirs.
The people of the clan do not know how to talk. They only make grunting sounds to express and communicate using sign language. They are way different from Ayla. If I remember, they do not even know how to cry...so when Ayla cries remembering her parents, they think she has an eye disease.
The first book in the series talks about how Ayla grows up as part of the Clan and ends with her being banished from the clan. She then sets out on a journey to look out for people like her. In the subsequent series, she meets a man named Jondalar who she gets married to and has a child (children? dont remember) so the entire series is based on Ayla and her travails during those times.

I absolutely love this series...takes me back to those times and though fiction, I am so fascinated with how they lived their lives in the harsh winters hunting mammoths, how they identified and used herbs for various ailments, how they eventually discover tools, needle/thread to stitch etc.

I have a fascination for the old. If a time machine really existed, I would want to go back to old times, see for myself and then get back :)
So obviously, was not gonna give this series a pass...love love love all the books. But the first one (Clan of the Cave Bear) truly stands out.

I think goodreads gave it a 4/5 and Barnes and Noble gave it 4.5/5. You will get glued to it and will not let go of the book until you are done.
