Info on new shows seems to be coming up almost everyday on IF these days. I read about the Sony show, some other mohabbat show on Colors and then some comedy show remade from famous Pakistani soap all battling for the prime time slots. Like Payalia said it is all good for the TV viewer considering the options they have. As to who watches what, a wise man once said "dekhna hai to dekho"😛

ThP be the flavor of the week I think. I directly jumped in and watched the Friday episode and did not miss a beat, thanks to Shoomie's awesome updates. The leads are strong and balanced, pretty title track, the scene by the water fall was done well visually as well as narration wise and of course the parting line by the brother during bidaii "bharosa mat thodna varna jan le lenge".. all in all most promising start in almost a year for any show. Agree with Shoomie and Visi that IK's baritone has quite a screen presence. All this does beg the question why does it air on such a small viewership channel?

Yup agree with you. TP be the first show I have seen in over a year which has impressed me. Everything is very subtle and no over the top acting. Me am totally impressed by the show till now. Need to see if this does sustain the interest for me going forward. And the actors are all doing a great job - no over the top and no rona dhona which is what I like a lot.

Regarding viewership, I think LifeOk is now the 4th GEC Savs much better than Sony anyways which is 6th overall. Of course the first, second and third are SP and Colors/Zee so I would say it is okay to have this show on Life Ok. I see this show becoming a hit for the channel if they continue the same momentum they started with.

I heard Ram Leela is really colorful and vibrant and Deepika was awesome. Went to Mall yesterday to catch 'Thor' and the tickets were pretty much sold out for both Thor and RamLeela. Seems to be Deepika's 4th super duper hit this year and too back to back.

Ah... whattay weekend! So, I didn't get to watch Goliyon ki Rasleela... since I had to take Goliyan for the head the aches. I wanted to watch Ram Leela with a migraine, just to teach the migraine a lesson but I think my husband didn't get the point. So, to teach my husband a lesson, I took him boots shopping. Yes, convoluted theories and their execution always win!

Anywho, for once I am glad its Monday today...a. the weekend was pretty awful with continuous rains, cold-ish breeze and an irritating migraine...b. I get to show off my new boots at work😛 !

I guess, I have to watch ThP considering it(he) "sounds" great... shoomie😡, if this goes the show- that-can-be-named way for me!

@bold:- it is okay howieji. Now we all have mastered the art of surviving satyanash and this time around we will jump before the satyanash hits us. For the time being the show is good enough TP(time pass) and most importantly there is no pulling out hair in frustration. So don't worry just give in. Why fear when we all are here.

The lineup of shows looks interesting; it is good to see Channels and PH's roping in popular stars and pumping in big bucks while trying various genres of entertainment.My dad has been watching 24 n he says it is very good, both in concept and execution.

I think Colors has another love story coming up with Amrita Rao's sister as the lead.

I too am caustiously optimistic about RR, first off because the promo has managed to intrigue me as to what the story is all about and I found the Sanaya-Ashish pairing unconventional but apt..

What route the story takes and how it progresses, I'll reserve judgement for till I actually watch it😳.

Looks like ThP is a unanimous hit for now, I watched the first 10 minutes last week but got swamped with other stuff but I'll try and give it a dekho n catch up on last week in a marathon session this evening. Then going forward it will be strictly "dekhna hai toh dekho" as and when time permits😆😆

On the movie front I finally watched Chennai Express this weekend and i'm not quite sure how to react. The talking while singing was funny but other than that it was too loud for my liking and no comments on SRK😕. I am now looking forward to Dhoom3 though I think the Dhoom title track was way better in the earlier versions and Aamir Khan seems oddly cast, but I'll wait till I actually watch till I comment further😳

Agree with your father on 24. Awesome show and love the way they have shot the show on grand scale just like international show. I do hope Anil kapoor does come with different seasons because I think 24 has 8 - 10 seasons already done in US and given that he is exactly following the first season to the T, me thinks he will do all the seasons in India too.

Colors has another love story coming on and that seems to be a simple halka pulka story and with muslim background. The promos are cute and the girl seems to be okay. No pulling your hair in frustration and no intense pull/push/shove happening. If they keep the flavor light hearted and not go the intense love story way. Enough of intense stories on air for now.

For the time being I am hooked onto Tumhari Pakhi - Nice story with nice acting. Dhoom fever is like really too much in India. The malls are already having cut outs for Dhoom in place. No idea how the story is going to be but looks like this PH has at least perfected the art of making hit sequels. Seems like this one is also going to a huge hit.

Sama, did you see today's episode. Oh the irony of Anshuman. Bechara wants to keep Pakhi out of limelight and the media catches him in airport because the Chief minister lands at the same time. Sachin was awesome today. He had perfect dialogues and he sure seems to be impressed by the strong girl Pakhi is. And Pakhi gave a perfect answer to the socialite woman, She kicked butt and the lady didn't even know what the hell just happened.
