@Fari - even though my gut instinct tells me Barun is too much of a recluse these days to go to NB, if he is extended an invitation by SP, from a professional and business standpoint, he should not turn it down unless he is shooting. Sanaya's new show is on colors and I think her being there depends on the benefits to SP and Colors. She was on Colors while on SONY, so it is not out of the realm of possibility.

Honestly I don't think Barun will do a guest apearence in NB. I would love to see him groove and in masti mode with AD and SI even if for a few minutes, but I have my doubts. If he wanted to make appearences on TV he would have picked a few advertisements but for some reason he is making a conscious attempt to not be seen😕.

Barun will be back, I just know it. I don't know why it is taking so long and why luck isnt currently favoring his projects, or what his reasoning for laying so low all year has been but I just know that he will be back in brilliant form to enthrall all of us with his talent for years to come.

I have often heard my gandmom say that success does not come easy, that you have to earn it and pay your dues. I do hope that Barun is doing whatever is necessary backstage and to prepare himself for a bigger and better second inning and I am waiting with fingers crossed and cannot wait😃

I still think that Barun was not there at the DB's event and that may be because of some work. I don't think he is trying to hide from the public view. If so he wouldn't attend any of the parties including Raquesh's birthday or Akshay's birthday. So I don't think he is trying to hide or make an conscious attempt to be not seen.

I am still 50 - 50 on Barun coming on SP for NB. The only thing I am looking forward to his 22 yards shooting happening and he coming on a show. Waiting for some tit bits to come in from TOI or the 22 yards team.

@sarah - I don't care that he is seen out with friends, good grief if anything has been certain in this year since he left IPK, it is that he hangs out with the usual suspects on a regular basis. I didn't like that he again is looking tired and I think that is what most here were bothered with.

@sarada - totally agree. the management of his time away from sets at IPk was to be managed by the PH. When you run a show with just in time management, planning becomes hard. I find it ridiculous that they didn't plan properly or write out a storyline. I mean, don't people get sick, get pregnant, have deaths in the family and other life events? businesses have to manage those. Again, I respect 4 Lions for their creative visions (although they recycle those too), but their management as a functioning business is pathetic barely functional.

Barun should be auditioning and should have a plan, but alas, he doesn't make one by his own admission. At least, a goal should be in his mind. I really wonder what MQE is doing for him. For an outsider, who hasn't got a godfather, I want to know what kind of things they are setting him up with for networking purposes. They have Priya Anand, Ali Faizal, Boman Irani's son etc...

In the ever changing message of Barun about IPK, in the initial days after IPK, I totally get why he didn't want to speak about it. But now, with distance, time and healing, he most recently said that he doesn't mind speaking about IPK because he knows what it has given him. Very classy.

And still after SRR has done some movies, most people do recognize him as Manav. Same with Ram Kapoor and Mr. Walia. These are not horrendous tags. They are badges earned in the landscape of a female protagonist dominated industry.

Anu agree with you on all points. I think if SP extends him an invitation for coming on NB, he should not turn it down. Sanaya didn't turn down the offer to do guest appearance on Colors for Jhalak and that is why she was able to land a show on the channel. These small things go a long way in securing your professional relationships and having a good stand with the channels.

4Lions screwed up a lot for Barun and it really has taken Barun a long time to walk away from the mess that was IPK's abrupt end and now after 1 yr I think he is able to put this behind himself and that is why I think he is looking for any good breaks. And if he has a good serial or show then slowly the tag of ASR will diminish on its own.

I think MQ is trying to put him out for different things and I hope Barun clicks in some other venture too. Kuch toh accha ho bande ke saath.
