making it in BW or any industry i truly believe you need a touch of luck. too whether it's debut or sustaining in it...along with talent, looks and ofcourse connections in the industry. he lacks connections and maybe lady luck has not been smiling that much on him...so he will probably have to go extra mile to achieve his dream...meanwhile he has not ruled out TV...like he said he's looking into weeklies...sometimes rushing to get into a project doesnt always prove as the right move...like chhanchhan...

I just wish he continues to act ..medium doesn't matter as he genuinely looks happy when he's acting...

I just want Barun to look like the goofy Barun offscreen...esp the day he came back to shoot the escaping with Khushi segment during MAMR shoot...he was tired but happy...

you must be remembering what happened with Rajeev Khandelwal and SP but after 3 years SP did get him back for the show sach ka samna and Rajeev agreed too .

Gandhari, I am not ruling out Barun's BW career but yes at this point I am being realistic. He waited for 1 whole year and what did he do - shoot for less than 10 days. Do I want him to struggle like this for the next 4-5 yrs, no I hope he doesn't do that mistake. And BW needs luck and connections and I am seriously not seeing any luck on him so far. Whatever he has mentioned to be in pipeline seems to have fizzled out. That is why I want him to work on TV while waiting for new things to work out. And once he starts working out, I do believe he is going to look happy and contended which is what is missing for him this year.

Just curious though, do actors need to be invited by channels to come on such shows to support their family/friends? It's a different thing if they are coming to perform but I am wondering if they need channel's approval otherwise.

I recall DD coming on NB last year to support her bro and SIL despite being on a show from colors.

KSG came to JDJ for DD, although according to his fans, colors (supposedly) has an issue with him.

I agree the disclaimer was bad but like I said before, in subsequent meet and greets the Channel representatives did try to clear off barun's name and mentioned that Barun quit due to his health issues. So it seems like SP did try to salvage the situation.

And Barun if he is not having any projects on hand, then yes according to me it would be good if he comes on SP in some serial but this time around he better negotiate with the channel directly and be contracted by the channel. That would protect you from the PH's clutches and please be wary of PHs like 4Lions who have deep management issues and who never have an episode bank.

I don't think you need permission to come on NB and in fact if Barun/Akshay/Sanaya were to come, I think SP will try to milk that episode to its maximum benefit. No idea about KSG and his panga with colors.

For different reasons Sarada. I agree that the channel tried to clear off his name but that's not what I am thinking. I always felt that post IPK, Barun intended to remove the IPK tag for professional purposes and that's one of the reasons I don't see him making an appearance with IPK co-actors on SP.

I could be wrong but he also seems a bit withdrawn these days.

Maybe, I am being too pessimistic.

I would be pleasantly surprised if he comes and I also I agree it will be good for him.
