The Balika Vadhu fame Vanshika Gaud and Madhubala - Ek Ishq Ek Junoon's Drashti Dhami are likely to perform in Diwali Dussehra fair, annual cultural programme organised by Udaipur Municipal Corporation (UMC). This 7 days event would be bejeweled by other celebrities in special performances. Today, in UMC a meeting of Cultural Committee was organised to finalize Star Cast for the upcoming Diwali Dussehra Mela.

Alike every year 4 days are dedicated for these special performances, whereas one night would be for Kavi Samelan' and two days spared for local artists.

According to Rajkumari Menaria, Member, Cultural Committee, names of the celebrities would be officially declared in a meeting to be organised on 8th October.

The fair would be of 10 days while seven days being allotted for cultural events including celebrity nights and local talents added Rajkumari Menaria. Rajkumari further added that budget of the fair is increased by more than 15% when compared to that of Rs. 45 lac in previous one,

UMC is incurring around Rs. 60 lac in this annual fair. According to Himmat Singh Barath, Commissioner, UMC, auction for installing various stalls was also organised earlier this noon. In which UMC has received an income ofRs. 36,50,000 against all the four spaces auctioned. One part is meant for the food court while other three will be installed with other products.
