Of late, there has been a lot of buzz pertaining to Life OK's upcoming venture, Ek Boond Ishq (BBC Worldwide Productions). It's the result of the channel aggressively promoting its show that is soon to hit the primetime slot in competition to other shows currently on air across GECs.

Life OK has now gone ahead to compose a unique title number Ek Boond Ishaq for the show. The song has a Sufi feel which one usually gets to hear in musical shows like Coke Studio and Unplugged on MTV.

The title track has been composed by talented duo of the Sangeet-Siddharth team, who rose to prominence through their song Aa Zaara Kareb Se (Murder 3) . "Ek Boond Ishq is a Sufi music track which we composed using a mix of western and Indian instruments. The song symbolizes eternal love. I can say that the audience will relate themselves with the song very much as we have positioned the word love neutrally; it can be towards parents, friends or anyone," said Sangeet.

The duo has been composing music for many films. So how did they think of a debut on television? Continued Sangeet, "It's not really a debut. Long back, we composed a track for the Disney show Kya Mast Hai Life and post that we started composing for films. When Life OK approached us, we chose to take it up because having liked the purity of love shown in the show. I am sure the show will change the perspective of television viewing with the song and the way Ek Boond Ishq has been shot so royally."

Ek Boond Ishaq has been sung by Anusha Mani, Shruti Pathak and Sonu Kakkar.
