Can SI admit that she took up a saas-bahu show now even though she always spoke against that genre earlier and said she will never do them? In fact she also said that CC is not a saas-bahu drama. I am not saying that doing saas-bahu drama is a crime for an actress. But then be upfront about it na...why this mixing of words? Who are you trying to fool?

And how can she say that in reality bahus are not afraid of their saas?? How ridiculous and unrealistic!! Which world does she live in?? Yes there is a section of women who may not be afraid of their MILs in real life...but there are many who are - and it is not limited to India! Any married women will admit this. However bold and modern you are...if you love your husband, and if he means a lot to you, you will ALWAYS control yourself in front of HIS MOTHER!! In some cases its not because you are afraid of her, but becoz you don't want to hurt your husband's feelings, so you swallow some bitter things...which is part and parcel of adjusting in a marriage - whether love or arranged!

I am surprised at SI's words nowadays! Is she for real??

same here...I am very lucky to have a good MIL too (touch wood)...but still I am apprehensive in dealing with her. MIL hai yaar...can't afford to get on her bad side, have to manage diplomatically! So I am not modern I guess.

I was happy at first to hear the show is based on Khoobsoorat..(I havent seen it but its Malayalam remake) The whole scenario could be so refreshing if they made it actually a light hearted one! A strict but innocent saas and a naughty bahu.. their humorous and hilarious scenes.. I would have watched it for a good relaxed half an hour. What made them change it to completely opposite direction ..I still wonder! The regressive, manipulative saas and the poor bahus.. doing all that ordered by saas.. I have seen it more than hundred times on TV!! what dumbness!

Afraid is not the correct word. But we do take care of their liking in all matters where they affect. SI is not married naa that may be the reason for this statement.. Its not her habit not to talk matters that she is unaware of!
