Has anyone read The Unwanted Wife? The story that Gargee was basing hers on..Is it a good read?

Nope but read that one chapter that someone put up on IF along with gargee's chapter ... it is ridiculously close...word to word.

I liked the story..

I don't know if its about 'Our culture is better than Western'

but when I read this para, these things came in my mind.

'does that mean Western culture/western GF, they are all bad?'

and what about GF.. what if she had true feelings?

as much as I agree about the flaws of Western culture, I don't understand Our constant need about proving it as 'Bad only.'

We live here and it has good as well as bad points. I have one of my father's cousin brother Married to German Girl, I must say.. I love her the most more than I love my any other 'Kaki.'

sorry, somehow I dont like stories which points fingers at others coz we have even more issues in our culture than others.

Madhu, it never says that our culture is better than theirs. All it says is don't shun our culture in the process of settling down in a foreign country. What it says is - be proud of your roots and embrace the local culture. That makes you whole. not a wanna be.

When i was small i was asked to frequent the hosp as i suffered from some lung disease unkown to me...!!! So whenever i went with my parents we were asked to wait for few minutes and in the mean time my parents would just roam around and speak to the docs while i used stand at the OP and ask the other patients to leave the hosp as doc was on leave that day..!!!!🤣

When the patients were about leave the doc used to come out looking through the windows and ask them to stay back as he was present!!!!🤣

Use goodreads.com for its review, Sami. Most honest and clear views by readers. I read that the development is not shown clearly. What Alessandro ( Arnav) does and acts has no proper explanation. Nevertheles, its a good read.
Its sequel book is coming up too.
