Of course he should have left to pursue his happiness elsewhere when the relationship between the production house and a fellow employee concluded! That situation was completely his business and he was obviously severely affected by what happened off course he and that person were bonded for life so anything that affects the other person affects Sid too and he has to take the other person's side and switch loyalties as per that person's whims and fancies
He was/is clearly unhappy with his current situation! I mean how else can you explain his behavior in remaining with a top 5 show and participating in a reality show that is part of the same despicable channel 😕he was forced to do it; held at gunpoint and made to; that is why his dance steps look like he is exercising in the gym as per his fans
