Siddharth Shukla, the very handsome telly town actor who is currently essaying the role of 'Shiv' in Colors popular daily soap Balika Vadhu will now be also seen in the upcoming season of Jhalak Dikhla Jaa: Dancing with the Stars. Though the actor terms himself as a non-dancer he is also high in confidence. Siddharth says, "Jhalak Dikhla Jaa is not only for those who can dance professionally. I believe that anybody can dance. It is true that initially I was hesitant to participate. But then on thinking twice, I realised it's the challenges that make life worthwhile. So, now I'm a part of this grand show". On being questioned about the survival quotient, Siddharth says that dancing is tough, but I don't have any competition. The only competitor we have on this show is me and my choreographer - Siddharth and Sonia'. I cannot predict the future but as long as I'm in the show; my desire is to learn every dance form from my awesome choreographer Sonia. I consider that it's going to be a fun-filled learning journey rather than a repulsive competition." For an actor who is playing a lead in a daily soap, it becomes very difficult to manage time. On the same Siddharth says, "It is not very easy. In fact, it is very exhausting to manage time for both - a daily soap and a reality show, simultaneously. After a long 12 hour shift for Balika Vadhu, I can barely spend 4-5 hours for rehearsals. But there are times when I have to practice for long, so as to match up with the show's soaring reputation. So it's more like a do or die situation." When we spoke to Sonia who is choreographing Siddharth in Jhalak Dikhla Jaa, she said that she is happy to have Siddharth as her partner, "It's true that he cannot dance but I think that is the greater challenge for me. To begin with, I'll be teaching Siddharth some free style dancing so that he can loosen up his body. And as the show will progress, I'll experiment some challenging forms of dance on him. Sid, poznatiji kao Shiv zapoceo je svoju karijeru kao model i bio drugoplasirani u Gladrags Manhunt a takodje je osvojio titulu najbolji model 2005 god.Kasnije se okusao u glumi u njegovom debitantskom filmu ''Ja sam zaljubljen ''.Sada je, model koji je postao glumac, spreman da ''prodrma svoje noge'' u prestiznom plesnom rijaliti sou JDJ.

Govoreci o plesu S.kaze"Tehnicki, ples je pokret tela ali za mene je sve to uzivanje. Volim da igram ali ne umem da igram . Iskreno govoreci, ja sam pravi ne-grac.''

Iako se glumac izjasnio kao ne-igrac , takodje je vrlo samopouzdan . S. kaze JDJ nije samo za one koji igraju profesionalno , verujem da svako moze da igra , tacno je da sam u pocetku oklevao da se prikljucim , ali kad sam razmislio , shvatio sam da su to izazovi koji zivot cine vrednim , Dakle sad sam deo ovog velikog soua.

(sad malo preskacem, nebitno, a i dalje cu skracivati, ocu ja da se takmicim sa Ekremom ali umori me Sid )

Kaze veoma je tesko uskladiti vreme za obe stvari ( pa napusti brate ovu jednu ionako je dosadna ) posle 12 h snimanja , jedva moze da provede oko 4-5h na probama

Sonja je inace rekla da je srecna sto je sa njim, tacno da ne zna da igra ( e ovaj sou moram gledati ) ali utoliko joj je veci izazov, kaze za pocetak ce ga opustiti a posle malo eksperimentisati sa njim i nada se najboljem, ( samo da se ne preforsiraju , mnogi bi s njim eksperimentisali )
