Ooh, this is one of my all time favourite movies!!

I have seen the tamil and Hindi remakes of the movie, but Jyothika and Vidhya come no where close to Shobhana... Incredible actress & dancer. Hindi version was very very disappointing for me. Akshay Kumar was pointless in that role - a cheap imitation in my point of view.

my all time fvrt movie...

hindi n tamil versions cant even compare to this one...

akshay was very funny...n poor in his acting...😆

Misha, I didn't find Akshay Kumar funny at all in that movie!!! I was cringing seeing him onscreen replicating the scenes Mohanlal did!!

In the original, the dance was Bharatnatyam (plus some folk), so in the Tamil version, they had to go for something else - which took away the impact.

I think the movie was remade in Telugu as well

Sona, the Hindi movie is Bhool bhulaiya... now the dance I forgot. They used Bengali and I think the dance form was Kathak - not quite sure.

funny in the sense,i was laughing my guts out when he tries to enact the serious scenes😆

esp the the long dialogue-the climax scene-revealation of ganga's split personality...😕

mohanlal n akshay...no comparison at all...

ohh that was mere dholna sun one? that was bharatnatyam i think. cause i have done that form. may be i am wrong dont remember much.
bhool bhulaiya was ok. akshay was iritating in that movie. but vidya balan in the end was fab😃
