exactly ... why say Sanaya is reprising Rekha's role when it has nothing of it. Rekha's role was not preachy at all. Also the story is nowhere going to be that of Khubsoorat ... Promotion ke liye accha tha but it should also live up to that expectation.

It is fultoo Mrs. Kaushik ... to an extent that the saas-bahu meeting at temple an their tiff played out almost in similar way.

Also this ML's twisted stories helped them get the buzz but what after that ... they found a person which not even SI hard core fans are being able to appreciate and PR skills toh chodo.

I watched Saas Bina Sasural ... Toasty was the Modern Bahu without being preachy. She did change views of a strict FIL and BIL with her easy manner and by her actions not dialogues bazi.

Also in promotion they have not just stretched on fresh and new but the actors have gone out to demean the other existing shows

Also the point is ... if I got to watch a saas-bahu drama why won't I watch a proper one DABH in the same time slot. 100 watt smile can only make a serial this interesting for viewers.

I also had a good laugh because I lost count of numerous times when SI hard core fans have demeaned Barun perception as an actor saying if he is to come back to TV he won't be able move beyond the image of ASR but for SI it will be easy as cake to get into the skin of the character from scene one. Ah well with perfect attention to every detail be it costume or screenplay, does not seem to be the case. This is not my words ... this verdict is of saner fans who are mostly inclined and tuned towards work of SI.

I am a girl of todays world and I know everything of household ... be it cooking cleaning make a budget go grocery or whatever ... you name ... So what am I supposed to feel when I see this ... That I am not modern or do not belong to today's world ?

This is very real ... Really ... So that knows their way around the house and respects general strangers or lets say does not bother with their way are supposed to be unreal. WOW !!!!

Talking about hindi b/w songs.. I love the songs of Lamhe.. actually loved the movie too. morni baaga ma / kabhi mein kahoo / ye lamhee ye pal / chudiyaa kanak gayae all were good songs. Movie story was quite unique for those days. The performances were good too.. btw.. the guy who was paired with the elder sridevi in this movie.. never saw him again !!!

I love Chandini songs too. again a sridevi starrer. my mother used to be a huge fan of sridevi. So, my family used to eventually watch most of sridevi movies 😆

Silsila is another movie which I like immensly. the songs again were melodious and Rekha was gorgeous !

I am not remembering the name but there was one more movie of Amitabh and jayabhaduri where both are singers.. that movie songs were amazing.. love them all.
