he seems like a good human being but he got himself into trouble most of the time because of bad company.. saw in the news his sister was crying.. felt really bad.. 18 months is done.. guess the rest he has to do.. if his behavior is good they might let him off early.. lots of movies of his under production it seems.. poor producers

yeah he has suffered too -first he got into drugs when his mother died...and then his wife died with cancer.. then this court case n all.. and with this case only ..i remember ppl at that time associating his name with terrorists... his father said he cried when finally judge announced that he was not a terrorist..

i love the discussions here...

as Rits pointed out, its all about a person's choice... if someone feels that they are getting enough creative satisfaction, good roles, screen space, money and fame... then so be it, they can continue in tv...

n if another one feels, his growth as an actor is getting wasted, n his role is no more offering him room to perform, n is tired of all this n want to explore another area, then thats his wish n choice...

the problem arises when one is treated as a traitor who sank the ship, n the other the angel who carried the shp on her shoulders...



if Barun did a movie in between the show, then that was with the maker's consent n if the 8 month notice is taken into consideration, both ph n Barun has been working with a mutual understanding... both benefitted n both struggled... but UNLIKE others Barun was honest to say that "everyone was making money, including me"... can any angel theory deny that?


now, coming to argument that, others suffered because of his movie, then thats a wrong assumption,,,,,... if anyone had to work n be in each shot, then they are paid for it... its not a "charity" as spread by intellectuals... n its the makers n creative job to lessen the work for any character...


n there is nothing angelic about continuing to work in a show, where one gets the maximum screen space, payment, n creative satisfaction... leaving that will give the actress no benefits,... n there is nothing wrong in her decision to continue too... she did what is best for her... he did what is best for him... n that doesnt make him a "traitor" n her an "angel"... they r very much human beings with flaws just like us...
