Humsafar isn't just known as a drama in Pakistan- it is known as a legend. Nobody would talk about anything but Humsafar- student, teacher, doctor, nurse...and errr all the disgruntled husbands whose wives were suddenly giving more attention to Fawad's cheek bones than their dinner at 8pm. It was SUCH an amazing experience.

The novel is equally captivating, I have heard.

Im not surprised, in a country like Pak where arranged marriages are very common, I'm sure that most of men and women would be able to related to the development of Asher and Khirad's relationship after marriage. As is said the simplicity of story telling is what sets the story apart.

It made me realise what a waste of chance it was for IPK. Even after they got remarried there was so much potential,.

Butnill be honest, I'm liking ZGH equally if not more s far. I don't know if it has the same kind of popularity but it's just as well done.

I love ZGH more too, maybe because I can empathise more strongly with Kashaf's attitude. Plus ZGh is a multi layered story that makes a statement on the state of our society.
