Very very suspicious interview I must say!
Would love if U would give your expert opinion regarding the interview!
Love can happen twice?Yeah rite.Dear LM would u have still directed the show if U knew Khushi will fall in love twice.
Why would Barun take a leave for his movie in May when his contract was gonna end in June.Could have delayed his movie for 20days leave IPK in June.
LM interview did not make sense at all.

Didn't understand few things in this interview priya.

1. If Barun's contract ended in June then couldn't the channel and PH have closed off the show in June with redemption and past instead of Kidnap drama and everyone could have moved on.

2. If Barun made it very clear that he was going to go in Sept and then in November then couldn't the PH and creative team come up with decent tracks to ease out the actor/character instead of waiting for the last moment.

3. If the whole premise was True love happens again then shouldn't they have already introduced the second lead way in the beginning so that the jodi would click after lead is gone shouldn't they. How could they think that Khushi would move on with some one else after Arnav's death after 1.5 yrs of love story. Shows the PH and creatives didn't understand the characters they came up with.

4. How come the PH never came up with press conference regarding Barun's quitting if it was that much clear that he was not staying beyond November.

All in all this shows that the PH had very poor planning regarding how to take this show ahead and they jumped off the moment the fans started uproar as they got a ready made scapegoat in Barun.

Hi guys, happy new year. Sorry to jump n the conversation but if the main story was that love can happen twice then how come none of the promos that we saw ever show that? The promos always talked about the star crossed lovers, nafrat pass Anne na de aur mohabbat door jaane na de. How come they posted the letter on forum32 that the story was done n tat they needed some ideas from the fans. Nothing makes sense. This production house had no plan to continue with IPKKND once it started producing QH. Barun was just a scapegoat. Just my thoughts.

@bold I wish interviewer asked this question to LM...and why so many others left the show...

and why I cant stop grinning when I read about Devdas and mentioning of Ash and Madhuri,..why worry about others when he has a perfect lead actress who would give her 110% ...

he says Barun was planning to leave in June..and "we asked him to stay"..was LM there in June..? I thought he was just back before remarriage track...😕

Sarada,Rashmi and Deeps have said all the points...I dont even want to get in those timeline,logics,cover-ups any more...

its not even making BS the scape goat that matters now for me -- only cowards and ppl who have reasons to hide their mess need to do that -- so thats been made obvious...

I dont like comparisons or any of those preferably so not even touching that -- but I want to find answer to one question that infuriates me - and I am going to find a direct answer to that for sure :

1) PH did a great job in conceptualising IPK and creating ASR

2) Channel was caught on the wrong foot and respected their viewers

3) Sanaya and rest all the cast suffered without any fault of theirs -- and they all put the most hard work till the last epi

4) Director was the one who did the best job possible always

5) Amazing writing that is responsible for IPK being the cult

6) Viewers are the actual gods here --- they dictated all the terms -- its all their hard work that the show became a huge success

So in all the points above -- is the summary -- and where does Barun Sobti fit in ??? only at the closure of the show to take the blame - Doesnt he have any bloody contribution for 1.5 yrs -- is it only the director, writers or PH ??? so if thats the case, why does it matter if he was to leave -- the same team should have the conviction to create another ASR and sell it to the viewers...

So anyone could have been ASR right ?? BS has done no good to the role -- baaki sabne kaam kiya -- acting, hard work -- why doesnt the director appreciate that even once ??? Heights of hypocrisy by all the 200 ppl involved in the team and Sorry, I dont have any sympathies anymore for them ...

If they would have once given a statement -- Barun's immense talent, incredible acting had a strong impact on the character of ASR that we all made and thats what pained the audience...

I would have accepted all the logics and bashing arguments or interviews --- but except talking of Barun's contract terms, duration or his willingness to leave -- whenever that was -- no one has mentioned a single other word -- so however close friends, advisors , mentors or colleagues you are -- when you respect the talent of the person deserving -- you get the respect from me -- and sadly , none of them did that for Barun - am done on this topic !!!

Look at this video -- these two hardly talk anymore -- everyone knows their history -- but immense respect for each other's work -- did any of BS"s so called friends or crew said once of his dedication and hard work that he put in as ASR -- no doubt , no one sees any good work on Indian TV - when its so much of egos involved -- and look at BS - -he has always credited everyone else -- thats the difference !!!

ok so just read LM's part 2 interview... this guy is so full of himself...is my first reaction on his interview..I didnt read 1st part... bt this interview just showcased..how great director he thinks of himself... well it is good but when you felt storyline was not good and you left...I didnt see then people targetting him as unprofessional...or did I miss something... only actor gets that title...😕..now coming to barun's part of interview...so this man told you from start that he was there just for 1 year... I think none of your team or PH then assumed show going beyond 1 year..coz then why did you sign him up in first place..? or you decided to take a main lead as an actor who is just there for 1 year and focus whole story on him ..and HIS love story when you knew you will have to work out a parallel lead and his story with khushi...🤔..or did you think you can successfully replace him as was case with mihir..of kyunki..but did he knew that mihir was changed after leap when focus of story shifted to tulsi and her kids...Do they even do their homework before comparing any random show with IPK... and if Sanaya was so interested in carrying off the show and as was all other casts..then why didnt you go for option of showing leap here...and Sanaya could well have portrayed daughter of Arnav-Khushi and carried off different story... and please what with this line- True love doesnt happen only once...😲..right..it can happen again ..but this story always portrayed Arnav-Khushi to be inseparable and on one sudden night you thought khushi could fall in love again...😲 ..and more importantly survive without ASR..Did he knw what show he was in..? or coming aftr break he got so disconnected with concept that he forgot essence of his own story.. I literally have so many questions... specially with this line- audience got biased..😡..dude for past 1.5 years I have been looking or finding ways to connect with khushi's character but your story focussed mainly on ASR most of time.. and it was always ASR relation with his sister..ASR relation with khushi... ASR relations with his parents... khushi didnt even get proper journey of her love...and then you say audience got biased...😡

with you, priya, 200 per cent on what you say above.

i can't imagine ipk without barun sobti. writing, direction, teamwork, cast, heroine, chemistry, everything yes. but without barun, to me there's nothing.

i do think that his well wishers should clearly state this. a young man with his own ambition, clear tell you as it is attitude, and 301 per cent dedication. he said he wasn't like asr, i never saw anyone else in him.

and sorry, there can only be one true love. there can be many loves and all have there place, but what we have come to know and feel as true love as a collective in this space and time, there can be only one of. oliver knew it though his writer valiantly tried otherwise. khushi too would have known it finally if this show had to carry on. just working hard without any commitment to the core of a thing is to my mind a bit pointless. anything, a job, a relationship, a creative product has a raison d'etre, why it is there at all. if that gets reduced to only making money and nothing else, it ceases to exist. just hard work can't save it.

if everyone knew barun was to leave. and hamesha love was the premise, no matter what the director now says, they could have done a brilliant job of completing the story beautifully. yet no one did.

barun is rare. the less rare will naturally want to get him tamed. happens.
