interesting that you bring up the babuji murder attempt angle. For me, that too was very much in Shyam's character. Keeps him grey still. I will explain why. Shyam has been shown right from the beginning as a clever opportunist who has the extraordinary ability to think really quickly on his feet and who has a way with people and words.. .him being a lawyer was also bang-on. And of course, I never quite agreed with the Anjali murder attempt track.. i thought it was foolish and against Shyam's basic character. He would never kill the golden goose.

Shyam did not plan to fall in love/lust with Khushi just as he did not plan to kill Babuji..yes he was getting intimidated with Babuji and his mind must have been working to stop his investigations somehow but the day babuji got the heart attack, for Shyam, it was a golden opportunity falling into his lap and he grabbed it. That has been his modus operandi for everything and what I would have really liked to see is this Shyam for whom everything was unplanned... had planned ONLY ONE thing --- revenge on the Maliks/Raizadas. And Revenge not for money or property for himself, but to deprive them of money and property... for emotional reasons. The story that Khushi told Buaji... the AR36K...the sheesh mahal and glass house that Priya so brilliantly had discussed in a crooner... everything was turned to dust.

That would have been the right background for all the things that he did. What they finally did show...that he did everything only for money and property and not for emotional reasons fell totally flat.

Everyone is counting the cast/crew who got jobs after IPK ended and it is like the 200 people needed to be placed or else paap is going to haunt the phangurls. Finally I laughed so much after reading this post. So chalo Viraf is going to get the 8pm show - IPK na sahi, Kaali its replacement hi sahi. Kisse ne theek kaha hai - Show/Show pe karne waale ka naam likha hota hai.

TRP readings out n I was searching for Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon😭 😭 😭 😭 😭 some other show on Zee has a 2.7🤔

Sit and read nahi priya. Tum bhi apna opinion do. Few questions though - seriously purely on debate on few things

1. Do you think the Indian audience is now ready for watching something other than Saas Bahu and rona dhona serials.

2. Do you think Gul did a good/bad/ugly thing by going with the murder of the story ? leave the injustice to the cast and crew aside. Just for the story/show going from one initial idea to the final product.

3. Which PH do you think is better equipped to dish out an intelligent show something on lines of IPK - Mills and Boon with good story/characters/actors.

My opinion is any M&B story - there will be high recall value for BS-SI but I want them to okay a project only if the PH is good. Else it will be a complete mismatch again.

btw, just out of curiosity...does anybody here watch the sisters' show on SP? whatever happened!!!😲 just saw their TRPs have plummeted to ground zero almost.. when IPK was running, theirs was a notch higher than IPK even. Star Plus is not having a good time.. their replacement serials like Kaali and that goonda wali gujju serial which used to come at 7.30 are flops.. even khamoshiyan with so much hype is not great at all. their purana soldiers... saathiya and rishta are holding fort still... speaks volumes... the writing is clearly saying.. go back to the drawing board.. think afresh before it is too late.

Seriously. Now I am dreading the next outburst from the BS bashers. If Viraf fails to click in Kaali, then be prepared to see a post like - "Viraf was suited for IPK but due to Barun, the show closed and now Viraf is not able to show his acting powers in this stupid Kaali show'. Any thing and everything is going to be ultimately BS's fault. Everyone is moving on but still the bashers are stuck at 200 people losing the jobs.

BTW Priya any chance of BS coming back on TV ?
