Funny something similar happened in our family like this years ago with my dad's sister. Our family was a conservative catholic family and my grandpa had a prominent post in the church but my aunt fell in love and wanted to marry a pentecostal preacher. Well catholic and pentecostal have clashed on may occasions so there a lot of history there plus girl from respectable catholic families were only meant to marry catholic men. She went against every belief and she married the guy. It is no more than 34 years and they are still happily married.

I personally feel if there is LOVE and RESPECT in a relationship be it inter cast, inter religion or inter race it doesnt matter...it always works ..YES sometimes it is hard to go against the expected customs or break through the tide and do something that our heart wants but I think at the end of the day happiness matters the most and that is the key to any successful relationship...

Sometimes arrange marriages fail to work and sometimes love marriages come out with the most loveless and disastrous consequences...

I have myself treaded on the safest ground possible ..fell in love with a guy that my family most probably would have arranged my marriage with anyways...he is my dad's best friend son...so in my case love ka love arrange ka arrange
