yeah tell me about it...2nd book i pretty much FF read it...3rd...only the relevant bits...the excitement of first book fizzled out quickly in the 2nd...barely finished 3rd...so moral...classic will always be a classic...people may try to put their own spin to it...but the characters are original authors creation only she knows how they should behave and how they should not...
I find IPK pretty unrealistic...
thats why i like it...its not real...reality sucks 😆
i'm living example of how opposites are compatible...my hubby is an extrovert and i'm a total introvert...he likes socializing...i like staying at home...he likes crowded family gatherings ...i get panic attacks thinking of all the people crowding my space...
how does it work?
...understanding each other and whole lot of compromises...
so i kinda like that they're not supposed to be compatible but are in most instances...👍🏼
talking to each other... thats what i miss most in Arshi relationship...but when they do talk it makes awesome TV...thats for CVs to understand...i think thats too much to hope for these days...still i'm gonna stick to it only coz of sarun.
Hahaha, reality does suck! (Omg, I have those same panic attacks...😳)
I actually agree with both of you. I've seen it in real life too with the seeming opposites attracting. It is all about the underlying understanding, though, that makes it work, so in that regard A and K could work in reality. Surprisingly, these two talk a lot, even if it is heated confrontations; I love how at ease they are with each other.
But, their ideologies are/were so different that you can't help but wonder how long a couple like that could've survived in real life. They're always fighting and whatnot, yet they always end up back together. Practically speaking, their mentalities are (or come across as being) very different and this love-shove business probably wouldn't last...yet somehow at the root of it all, they're the same. Oh, fiction!
@ DoJin: Lost in Austen wasn't great, but it was different. I didn't hate it, but the original is always better.
