Wohi na...I have no one to talk to here on IF when it comes to Pakistani shows since Fatty rafu chakar-ed even though we didn't always agree about things...bus aik frequency set thi kuch cheezon ke baare mein. Also, there's no one to make me creations on Pakistani shows too (of course no one could make 'em like her). I went to the forum and requested for some creations....politely...tab bhi kisi ne ghaas hi nahin daali. Everyone there is in lala land because of Fawad Khan and his new show...I hope it flops badly.

@MB - Yaar, I thought I said this somewhere, but apparently I didn't? Hanji, I did catch up with the scenes of the last 2-3 weeks that I had missed from MB and BV, just the couple scenes primarily, but all those. Except the few BV scenes from your update which somehow I missed.

Anywhooo, so yes, I did watch the "Mr. India" scenes which were like awesomesauce RK on! 😆 I esp LOVED that one with the aaj Mr. India khana nahi khilaega line 😆 And WORD to what you say about the tenderness in his manner despite RKgiri galore in his dialogue baazi! Which is, I think, most entertaining and in its own way even endearing about RK as a character. He doesn't lose the "cynicism" - but it doesn't cost him the fundamental human need for genuine companionship, and even though he has his obstinate power-fights, he doesn't confuse ego with sheer abuse. Even in his highly unfair dealing with Madhu over their 4-phera marriage, he runs by his own moral code. And of course, of recent times with the progress between them, credibly enough, he doesn't bend to lose character, but he yields rightfully.

And that also brings me to the discussion between LadyM and you about Vivian. You know funny thing is I remember watching this guy in some Kekta show initially - was it Kyunki? I can't recall! - and I do remember having a pretty neutral opinion about him in general. But the next thing I know about him is his zombie role in the Vampire show, and I dunno if he did anything between, but that one totally, totally ruined it for him! I mean seriously, the show was mega crappy is one thing. But I remember having randomly caught some Ritwik scene on it, and he wasn't half as dead or drab. Vivian just entirely blanked out that show in his part. So when MB was starting to air, I obviously had no eye out for it. So it has been a surprising contradiction for the good in that sense. because whether Vivian really works for RK, or vice versa (more likely), he's done much better than anything I assumed after the vampire stint. And undeniably better than Sobti's speech issues and Mahi-man's general appeal which is somehow entirely lost on me *shrugs*

Anyway, so QH/MB/BV today? (You said MB had some scenes right?) Think I'll go catch up scene wise as always...

Mash - Fawad is just came and stole Imran's spot. I remember it being ALL the way Imran for quite a while after KAM. Then Malaal, which many fangirls watched and loved all for Imran. Then Fawad came out with Humsafar and stole the title crown...

@Jzee: LOL I loved that line too...well basically anything to do with the entire Mr. India track...I loved that entire scene later on also when he gets the movie put up on a projector and it's used as a backdrop for the RK-Madhu squabbling over DAWAAI and KHAANA😆

I think Vivian was in Kasamh Se very briefly...lol...one of Jigyasa's sons maybe...I'm not sure...but he was deffo in a K-soap briefly before he went on to desi twilight.

In MB's case, thankfully the writing is much better than Geet/CT show type stuff and so is the direction...and yes acting as well...sometimes I do wonder though what MR could have done with this role *sigh* LOL...these ppl are HEAVILY LTL inspired...right from the shaadi drama to the Bappa fixation to the khaana obsession aajkal...they shift tones but basic premise is deffo inspired.

Bingo...the cynicism is kept intact and so is the ego but it's not abuse of the CT brand which was just ridiculous...power plays go on b/w RK-Madhu too but the writing is more nuanced, hence the darker aspects don't cross the line and are understandable within characterization...it's a consuming sort of obsession b/w them but the focus is not on specifically showing the various angles in which Madhu can trip and fall into his arms or her dupatta can fall over his face...which is all I could ever seen in Geet/CT shows.

LOL read some of the drama in the IPK forum today and it seems this whole Barun story is a bit similar to MR quitting...apparently this guy too only signed a one year contract and wanted to quit since a while...ahahahaha

I'm getting so much deja vu of all of us going W*F when the same news came out about MR...and the entire LTL related drama that came with that.

But seriously that was nothing compared to the TSUNAMI happening in the IPK forum right now with everyone randomly hating on Sanaya too just cuz she expressed that the fanbase is behaving like psychos...lol...well she didn't say exactly that but she was honest enough...these phangurls need to get a grip.

Jesus. Are people really this insane? DMG fans were a puddle compared to this. These psychos have given me such a headache.

I mean, I don't even watch this show or like Sobti or care...and yet I am so incredibly pissed off on his behalf. What is he, their slave?! Audiences may "make" a show but they don't own it, and they certainly don't own the actors. God forbid these idiots should ever want to quit a job and their bosses/colleagues/random people on the internet whom they've never even met abuse them and refuse to let them leave, and act like he's committed mass murder.

Idiots, every last one. I swear, I want to go find all these people and give them a massive chamat each, simply for being such morons. Aise fans se toh acha hai na hi hon. And you can bet that most of them are middle-aged aunty-jis behaving like four year-olds having a tantrum. Is it just me, or has the world gotten stupider? I swear things never used to be this bad pre-Twihard. I mean, there are people who've written entire dissertations on the topic...and (supposedly) "commissioned" an "expert" to "analyse" interviews, for f***'s sake! Do these people even live in the real world? How much free time do they have?? If they are THIS upset about some TV show, I can only imagine with abject horror how they might deal with their real life issues. I'm so glad I don't know anybody like this IRL. I probably would have punched them in the face a dozen times over by now.
