The Filigreed Sun is fast becoming one of favorite stories and you know story and character sketching perfection, aside, what I really like it how most of if seems real even without knowing that it is based on a true story.

There is a certain pull about fiction written to mirror reality. It pains me to think there are folks going through such trauma. Yet there is always a certain semblance of hope and normality - and by that I don't mean happy endings...Argh...I am rambling...sleep deprivation is finally showing :P

@others: I have wondered long about the hoopla surrounding 50 shades of grey. I think I may have to read after all.

My friend recommended it to me as she really really enjoyed it, I however couldn't get into it. I'm a fast reader, but shades of grey was unimpressive for me 😕

I haven't read 50 shades of Grey... but given the hype I might just read it. But given my pregnancy I have been keeping anything to do with violence and other uncomfortable subjects for post pregnancy reading.
