How else will Megha realize that all her efforts are misguided and that Mohan has moved on? Rash's contradictory behavior along with Mohan's silence has left Megha in charge of her own theories. Some one had to shake some sense in her. Even in Prateek's case she HAD to be shocked - given the level of dumbness she has displayed.
If I ignore the last line, otherwise it was an ok confession...I liked how he also told her DIKHAAYI nahin deta?😆...Oh he deffo told her as a last resort...I guess Megha thought that after she tells Rashmi the truth about the Mrs. Bhatnagar drama, everything would magically get solved and Mohan would go running to Rashmi...but woh nahin hua toh Megha desperate ho gayi and started asking Mohan to stop Rashmi😆...I'm wondering if Mohan told Rashmi also that he loves Megha only...Rash ki besti...Woohooo! *ebil muh* :P I don't think he will. At least in the Mohan I have known for the past few months. With the new Mohan anything can happen. Mohan always spoke to the point. He never engaged in mindless gossip and small talk with anyone except Nanhi. Which is why he didn't get into a war of words with Rashmi. He just went along with Megha's foolhardy scheme because he was clearly having fun, although he was constantly warning Megha to back off - like at the farmhouse. So I see this less of a confession from Mohan's side and more of a clearing his conscience.
Looking at Megha's expression after he tells her, I'm also reminded of this theory posted by estee in the forum a couple of weeks back that on a subconscious level Megha is aware of Mohan's feelings but has been making all sorts of attempts to set him on a different path i.e. Rashmi. This sounds right. Women are not THAT dumb also. Maybe she doesn't want to hear what he wants to say. Initially she might have started off on her rescue mission. But after spending time at the farmhouse with Mohan and realizing his general direction, her guilt, her conscience, even to a certain extent her fears must've taken over - so when she saw the small window where Rash seemed to be behaving better than before, she pounced on the opportunity to pass off Mohan's affections back in her direction.
I don't think Mohan would ever expect Megha to tell him she loves him too...toh denial is a given...he's made that clear from the beginning only even in all the confessions that happened during the farmhouse drama...I guess getting this out has cleared his conscience...now he has nothing to weigh him down...uska mann saaf ho gaya hai...he has no expectations from her to begin with but now he doesn't have to deal with guilt weighing him down either. Exactly! This is not the time or the place for Megha to receive Mohan's affections with good grace. He unburdened himself... but now she will carry the burden of not being able to reciprocate those feelings.
Remember that dialogue of his that he used to say in the early days of the show? "Mujhe koi bhi cheez aadhi adhuri bilkul pasand nahin"...That seems to fit in this scenario...sab dil khol ke bol diya Mohan ne😆 Salute to THAT spirit of Mohan whom we once adored.
