Ok so metal properties:
Shiny
Hard
Strong
high melting nd boiling points
Good conductors of electricity nd heat!

low reactivity!+ properties= good use for industry!

copper: water pipes
titanium: jet engines
Iron: vehicle bodies nd reinforcing concrete.

wrote all of that from memory from ur post eureka!!! lolzz

yeah becoz transition elements hve partly filled d-sub shells right?

Ok yay! this is awesome! lovin it!

titanium used for some parts of a jet engine or all. And it's to withstand high temps right?

I know I'm loving it too. Helping someone with knowledge great!😃
Titanium is used for some parts of a jet engine. And it's just to withstand high temp but if you think about it when a plane flys up into the atmosphere the pressure is extremley high as well to be able to withstand that is also something that are needed in jet engines which Titanium provides. Rememeber strong and hard.

Here's some info on Ti in Jet engines:

Jet Engines

Titanium is used for critical jet engine rotating applications. In the newest technology jet engines, wide chord titanium fan blades increase efficiency while reducing noise.

And here's some more!

Owing to their strength, resistance to corrosion and their ability to withstand high temperatures without getting deformed, titanium alloys are used to make critical parts of aircraft, rockets and missiles among others. One important application of this metallic material is in the manufacture of jet engines.

okay thnx reebz!

just wanted to knw for my own knowledge! lolzz..

Titanium is useful! it doesnt corrode amazin! nd it's able to withstand high temps wivout gettin deformed awesome! im writing down stuff to so takes time for me to reply! but im just on the CC nowhere else lolzzz nd then i write down stuff!

That is just great going around the subject gives you even more knowledge! Titanium is useful and so are the other TM, each has their special use.
heres some more for you sweety:

To suck in large amounts of air, the jet engine has a large spinning fan with titanium blades. These blades not only increase the engine's efficiency but reduce noise. Other titanium-made components are the compressor and combustion chamber.

Jet engines are made to withstand great temperatures, pressures and the stress associated with both. The middle compressor of these engines are made of aluminum but once the air and fuel mixture reaches the high pressure and high temperature section, the combustor, its chamber and turbine blades are constructed from nickel and titanium alloys. The most intense heat of the engine is felt here.

Jets were first designed in 1921 but in 1942 was the first american jet engine was made.

Okay what i learned about titanium!

-Used in jet engines
-for blades which improve engine efficency nd reduces noise
- Withstand high pressure nd temp.
-resist corrosion
-does not deform easily bcoz of high temp

aahhh i get it the combustor, the chamber the area where theres high temp nd pressure the componenets r made from titanium nd aluminium! got it! thnx hun!life saver!

Exactly. The region of high temperatures and high pressure is where titanium will be used. Wow learning more stuff about titanium LOL.
