Bones tonight! It's a Pops epi! Yay! I just watched the Pops epi from season 5 yesterday too.

Looking forward to the epi tonight.

Oh there will be a Bones epi today...I thought there was a two weeks break...or has it already been two weeks...what's wrong with me?!

Kabhi kabhi I think it's been ages since we had a good LONG discussion about any show *sigh* Miss those days.

No, seriously, there's something wrong with me these days. I don't feel like doing/watching even reading anything...har cheez fuzool lag rahi hai mujhey. Maybe it's just a phase.

We haven't watched a show consistently since soo long. I miss the LTL and Gulaal days too..or when we were catching up on Bones together...even the MJHT days..lol...God, we had fun in those days for sure...which reminds me...are you still watching Hitler Didi?

Exactly *sigh*...we haven't watched a proper show in so long...nothing like LTL, Gulaal or the Bones catch up sessions *nostalgic sigh* Sometimes when I'm watching old epis on my DVDs, I remember how obsessed I was when I was catching up on Bones...such awesome days...lol

Yeah even MJHT provided us with a lot of fun back in the day...no doubt...lol

Too bad everything is so predictable and blahh these days...even the actors in the in the chindi timepass shows are so useless that you can't even get fun out of them like we did with MJHT.

Haan I watch bits and pieces of HD cuz my mom watches it but that show also has gotten slow and blahh now...that champu Rishi notwithstanding...lol...waise bhi the show has gotten dumb.

Word with you on the blahhh phase...even I feel disinterested in most things these days

Oh waise I was watching the BBC version of P&P last night...Colin Firth is such perfection as Darcy...especially the way he WATCHES Lizzie constantly in every scene...the man's a brilliant actor...and the intensity that both actors brought to the relationship simply through the CONVERSATIONS and the LOOKS...powerful stuff...you don't get such kind of classiness in love stories these days...be it hindi movies or even English movies.

I am even more appalled now that ppl DARE to compare CT with Darcy...the entire character as well the "acting" is all an INSULT to Darcy.

There's no decent entertainment for us left anymore Anu. I tell you at one point we will completely stop watching TV...in a year or so...or we'll start accepting more mediocrity...or writing for TV ourselves.

Yeah HD was not a great show to begin with waisehi. TV is boring in general...aur agar real life mein bhi koi hulchul na ho toh phir hamare tumhare jaise log beth kar IF par random-giri hi karte hain...

I did watch the CT show today after a very long gap. Needless to say, I was more amused than before. Both CT and Jalebi Bai seem to be suffering from short term memory loss. Only after fighting so long and hard last week (as per the fan girls), they are back to giving each other high fives and sharing missions... go figure!

It's a brillianttt scene...it's like every word from the book comes to life...I recently read this scene in the book again and this scene is pretty much the exact depiction you picture in your head...I love Darcy's agitation in the beginning...the way he walks in, all restless, pacing around the room...there is so much emotion in his eyes each time he turns and looks at her and the way their gazes hold for a bit...Lizzie is curious, confused about his behavior even as she pretends indifference while watching his pacing back and forth and not saying anything...and then the way he finally moves forward in a rush and the words tumble out...'in vain I have struggled, it will not do...you must allow me to tell you how ardently I admire and love you'...I love how that 'love you' in the end is such a struggle for him to say still😆...and Lizzie is staring at him in total shock until he rushes ahead with the, 'I know you are beneath my social standing and this is against my better judgement' spiel...and the way her mouth tightens in anger there as he goes on...truly has to be the most unique proposal in the history of literature😆...I love the way CF enacted that latter portion of the speech too...where he talks of the passion he feels for her and asks her to put him out of his misery and be his wife😆...it's like there are SO many emotions in the scene...the ones he feels, the ones he battles, the ones he can't help but express no matter how much he may want to hold back based on his "judgement'😆...and the way Lizzie refuses him...such brilliant dialogues for both characters...you truly feel like you are watching POWERFUL characters...and the actors are so superb together...every nuance perfectly executed...every emotion of the characters plays across their face. There is so much in this scene that seriously it's hard for me to sum up.


Re: CT show...yeah I watched it today too...Jalebi has all the brain power of a tweety bird...2 seconds mein memory loss aur batti gul😆...but ehhh...not like I expect any sense from this show anyways...it was an amusing enough epi...I liked the scene in yesterday's epi when CT-Jalebi meet up to solve the Payal-Akash issue and Jalebi gets so excited over a free BISKUT😆

LOL I tell myself I'll get a month long break from this atleast when I go to India...atleast some real life entertainment😆

haha@ writing for TV ourselves...not happening...I have a better chance at accepting mediocrity than you do...I think you'll just probably stop watching TV altogether and quit IF as well then I guess😆

But yeah I do miss actually feeling ENGROSSED in a show *sigh*


That's an interesting trailer...is this a documentary film from India? Is it about some kind of woman crusader fighting for women's rights? It reminds me a bit of the rural soaps like 'laado' and all😆
