I guess this is Dia and Zayed's first production vecture. The film does have a fresh feel to it. I just hope the storyline is not down the clutters. There is dearth of god storylines nowadays!
Even I liked Rab Rakhaa, the anglised enlish one-liners are signs of appearing 'cool' for film-makers 😆

Dia looked nice as the sprightly girl, though Zayed's cool-dude act dor the umpteenth time was well, tolerable. 😆

Vas, have you seen 'Serendipity? The one starring John Cusack and Kate Beckinsale!

Diya and Zayed do look refreshing together. Am bored of the usual people in all the films. I really like how well Diya is ageing. She doesn't try to look younger than she is but her face still glows. And I like her dress sense too. It seems she is always smiling.

Yes, I've seen Serendipity. A little cheesy, but cute. I prefer When Harry Met Sally. And I prefer Hum Tum and Jab We Met to those 😆

Hehe..JWM and HT are a class apart! Such movies come just once in a while! *sigh*

I love the initial Amsterdam bit in HT, and bus convo at night of Aditya and Geet. All-time favourite scenes! 😃

@Mash: lol honestly more than IF per se I was more addicted to making creations esp on gulaal recently and discussing it and stuff so I'm missing that mainly. Otherwise obviously i am doing other things. Stuff around the house, tv is there. Net just gives u access to more choices.

@Abhi: electricity is back thankfully but net isn't. Which is why I'm still using my phone for that. Thank god for 3G atleast. Lol

Hey Anu, yes:

Abhi - my fave HT scene was the fight they had at Jimmy Shergill & Isha's wedding, and the scene following that where he drunkenly apologises to her. So sweet. Plus, black suit+red saree+rain=epic. LOL

My fave scene in JWM...I guess that scene where they are preparing to run away and hiding on the chhat while Geet's family search for her. Aditya says, "wait, I have to face the wrath of your family and be the bad guy and run away with you, and I don't even get the girl?!" LOL.

@HT- That was quite a high-intensity scene, when the chasm that they have built over all these years very subtlely conquers all the love they have for each other. Beautifully penned down scene!

@JWM- Arrey, haan I remember that scene. The way Aditya says, "Aur mujhe ladki bhi nahi mil rahi hai" was hilarious. 😆 My fav bit in that bus convo was when Kareena wrt to her sis says, "Muft Muft Muft'. That scene REALLY cracks me up!

@Anu- Oh, thank god electricity is back atleast. Wahaan pe toh aadat bhi nahi hogi bina light ke rehne ki!

Khair the scene was perfect...this was the kind of confession I was expecting from Gulaal...she's too egoistic to say it all. 😆 And she doesn't have to...he understands her well enough to realize the unsaid...and how sweet was the whole exchange...specially...'Keh toh aise raha hai jaise sheher jaane ka faila tu ne mujh se pooch kar liya tha...humesha apni manmaani karta hai'...'poochta hoon toh tu seedha jawab kahan deti hai...dekh na abhi bhi ghuma phira kar baat kar rahi hai'...😆 ahhh these two!

And NB is one hell of an actor!

NOW I can reply to this aaram se *satisfied sigh*

@bold: Word...the exchange was so GK-ish...the little sulkiness with which she's all like, 'humesha apni manmaani karta hai'...'keh toh aise raha hai jaise you asked me if you could leave' and him replying in just as sulky a mode that woh bhi use kabhi seedha jawaab toh deti nahin...awww how adorable are they? lol

You know the thought that really struck me is not that she's too egoistic to say it implicitly...it's just how she always has been...just look at how many ppl have been telling her since ages...even within the epi...first we saw her freaking out over the fact that Kesar's memories were taking over everything no matter how much she tried to cling to Vasant and later on MB talking to her about her loving Kesar is not WRONG...while I'm not really fond of so much of family drama in the first half, and less said about the scene with Vasant the better...it was all getting too preachy for me to be honest...anyways...the fact that Gulaal doesn't once REPLY to anything that ppl keep telling her...whether it's MB or Vasant...but you can see the play of emotions on her face, in her eyes in response...and you can SEE what she's thinking without her saying it implicitly...that was the genius of how this was set up I feel...so given how they showed this realization slowly building up over the course of the epi, her running to Kesar and saying "main tujhse pyar karti hoon" just wouldn't have fit.

Instead they showed the graph SO sweetly...you can see Gulaal STILL struggling at every point to clearly spell out her feelings...she makes little stabs at it by saying stuff like, 'jaana zaroori hai?"...but Kesar doesn't let her get off that easily and ultimately you can see the way she has to work up the courage to even say, "mat jaa"...that is HUGE by Gulaal standards...that is her equivalent of shouting "i love you" from the rooftops😆...and the beauty of this scene is how Kesar understood what she really meant...THAT was the emotion in his eyes there...oh man, goosebumps in that bit...NB was so so SO fabulously emotive with his eyes there...the guy can really project a lot with his eyes...talented actor.
