ok she is gng through hell but does she let him be there for her? does she? he is trying his every thing out to just be there for her but all she does is push him away and she pushes only him away she is ok with her friends maybe because she doesnt has to feel or explain anything to them they wnt ask her inner feelings and she can just drink and forget with them thats y she can be with her friends but with him she knows if she starts opening up tp him there wnt be any turning back...but he doesnt knows that he is scared to death man he almost lost her she was freaking dead for three our hours and they had to use extreme medical measures to bring her back to life but clinically she was DEAD for THREE TO FOUR HOURS she was DEAD...and she choose this...she in a twisted way tried to commit sucide man she didnt swim when she knew how to swim...imagine his state of mind all he has been doing ever since then is breathing her in all day all night jsut making sure she is still breathing there was a time i think 3.19 or something when he said he didnt even sleep at night fearing she would stop breathing...he is scared that she doesnt wants to live that she wld do this again that he wld loose her so he is gng paranoid and she is not helping things ONE BIT NOT ONE BIT at every attempt of his to just be there she pulls away...he is a freaking human he too wants a bit security a lil bit of hope that Mer wants this that Mer sees a future for them...Mer still had friends there kabs Der had a nobody no one just no one...he was all alone and he was scared he was scared coz Mer didnt see a future for them and without that future he was lost he had nothing to look forward to to hope for...so he just needed a reaction from her thats why he went all rude and blatant with her when Mer said u can tell me anything he blabbered what he wanted most and then threatened her just to shake her up to make her react in any small way which wld give him sign that she wants this...when this seaosn started Derek knew she wanted this thats he so-knew it and he got her but as days went by his faith too was loosing kavs...the more Mer pulled away the more his faith lost...so cut him some slack he knows big things happened to Mer but does Mer knows that? Would she even accept that things are NOT fine? thats the problem Mer is pretending everything is fine and she wld b fine and happy alone...and i get that she needs space but Derek he is scared to death too scared of loosing her so he needs a sign...nothing else...he just needed a freaking sign that Mer wants this that they r on the same page that this is not just a sex thing that this is forever not jsut for him but for her too...thats all...and he wanted to be there for her jsut be there...
