ahem ahem...so did Anant and Navya! but that was their only typical damsel in distress moment.
Navya is darpok and even she knows that! she doesn't go on lecturing Anant about God or other stuff. Anant hasn't manhandled or stared Navya down even in his dreams! So true! And honestly I'm amazed that till this day the show hasn't fallen to doing the typical dream sequence/trip catch routine either...yes the first moment was a damsel in distress moment but I remember thinking even back then that there was something about Anan't reaction in that scene that made it natural to me...he didn't go all "lowe at first sight" on Navya and he was asking her out of concern...yes Navya went kinda dreamy eyed there but as you see more of her character after that, you start to understand better...the way they show her thoughts and all makes her more interesting too...the evolution of AN's bond has been shown in a very genuine and sweet manner.

HATE = LOWE...ummm someone expand this equation please. LMAO allow me:

HATE + trip/catch + flying dupattas + HAWT stares + manhandling + BHAASHAN queen + "arrogant/expressionless" hero = LOWE + 20 million song sequences + almost kiss scenes + sharmaaoing heroine + hyper hormonal hero + shirtless tai chi sequences + hyped up suhaag raat to make all the fangirls salivate
