Sorry for disappearing ... too much work today. Yesterday I could get away with a I'm-not-feeling-well excuse. But today I have to make up for the slack. It is 1:40 pm here and I am already sleepy.. Wonderful discussions going on in here.

Amy, GG - Badhiyain for tolerating CT and his nonsense ... Re: news channels in India - they have become like the trashy star spotting news on MTV and such... totally worthless on news and a complete money making business. They were at their worst when one of the news channels offered to interview and air a terrorist's view on the terror attacks in Mumbai. THAT's when even the common public spoke up against the media! It was embarrassing and not to mention humiliating to even watch Indian news at that point.

He fivr! you're not alone in that essay writing thingy. I have to write college essays and scholarship essays too...but thankfully they aren't due this afternoon (pheew).

@LadyM---WHAT!? was that for REAL? interviewing a terrorist to get his pov?!
@GG-- i have seen desi news channels ...i can't get anything across because of LOUD annoying background music.

Haye Amy! I remember those.. But I'll let you in on a secret - I just wrote ONE essay which I then chipkaoed on EACH undergrad application... 😆 My laziness did not allow me to write a fresh one for each..

But yaar, I've written way too many essays k ab toh I'm burned out.. Ap toh jee shuru ho rahi hain abhi, main toh Ph.Ds kar chuki hon essays mein.. Undergrad applications essays, internship essays, scholarship essays, aid essays aur phir the mother-of-all-essays i.e. med school personal statements! Toh ye 500 word wala toh mere bayen haath k khel hona chahiye (they have even told me what to write in there - in direct terms, nothing vague either).. But I just CAN'T do it! I can't.. *cries phoot phoot k* 😆

LadyM, it's one of those "list your academic accomplishments, awards, honors, community service work, future goals and financial need.. and tell us why you chose to attend our program.." type essay.. Bilkul basic, boring sa.. And upar sey it's just 500 words.. 😆

I don't like writing self praising essays.😆 I can write anything other than those in however less time you give me...but those college essays are B-O-R-I-N-G! Dude, i'll sit through interviews instead😆

btw i was going to do that as well...write one awesome essay and then use that for all college apps!😆 HECK yeah!
