@bold: LOL see that's what I find cute...the way her and Navya are constantly bickering on this issue...and how her younger brother is such a PAIN to her...lol...they've got the sibling dynamics down well too. The dadi has her annoying moments but in all honesty she is a pretty realistic dadi in a way too. That is definitely true *nods head* In most middle class families in India, which is what Navya's family basically is - upper middle class- abhi bhi they consider marriage to be the most important thing for a girl :S It's definitely not something I like or agree with or anything , but it's true...they still have that whole way of thinking , you know...ki padhai toh khatam kar li hai, graduation ho gayi, ab ladka dhoondo :STake my grandmom for example. She never nags my sister about getting married nor does she have ANY opposition to education for women and working and the hours my sister keeps or anything , but if you ask her what she wants my sister to do , then she'll say "Get married into a nice family'. Not 'Be awesome-r at work and get promoted and get loads of freebies and give them to me.' Which is what I would say :PMy sister works for Revlon :) Hence.
Unlike Anant's creepy family...lol...his grandpa was the professor in Seven...I told you some days back, remember? Hence the creepy expressions since he had to be all "mysterious" in that show too😆Okhay...isliye buddha aise hai...freak-ster :/ Anant's family is just weird, I swear...I think I was saying this to Amy , that they seem to be slightly dysfunctional to me...saath rehte toh hai, but I can't see any sort of bonding...too many undercurrents of tension and discontent in the house...the only genuine equations I've seen are of Anant-Nimisha and Anant-Mom :S
