I cant believe we did it. Its so surreal.

from 25-2, we made 277, WITH 8 balls remaining. 8 DARN BALLS.

I had completely lost hope after Sachin's dismissal.

But Gambhir and Dhoni--under pressure and SO much tension showed their metal.

Today was Dhoni's day, as a captain and batsman. Coming up the order, and choosing to go out in the field BEFORE sending key players like Yuvraj and Raina was such a brave decision.

Did u guyz hear what he said after the match? he said he wanted to take the pressure on him to win and did not want to tense the rest of the players, thats why he came out on the field before them. And it worked just perfectly for him <3333...i LOVE the risks and gambles he takes!

BEAUTIFUL sigs!! <333 and i cant believe it too. People in Blore are in a frenzy and NO ONE here can sleep tonight with all the bursting fire crackers and screaming; its a surreal thing.

But i wanted this for dhoni. more than sachin. Cos what he did out there today, was marvellous. In all his other games this WC, he's been SO poor with the bat. And today, under so much pressure, coming out to bat after the most crucial players got out nastily, and coming out to bat SO early on the field, carrying India's burden on him is something which he needs to be awarded for.

When they announced Dhoni as the MOM, I was all grins. What that man did our there for India was simply outstanding. And I know I haven't watched any other cricket games really, but I can say one thing for sure, M.S. Dhoni is an ideal captain, and deserves all the praise he is getting. He is definitely a name that will go down in history forever.

^^ absolutely!! and just IMAGINE- Dhoni usually comes in to bat after Yuvraj and Raina! but NO, he decided to go out there first, before them, only to take the entire country's burden on HIM. God. I feel so proud of him today. So proud. wish i could give me a tight hug!!

and Gautam Gambhir--WOW! young player, big game, tremendous pressure. and 97 off just 112. Damn those three runs that made him fall short of a century. DAYYUUUM.

PS- LOVED how everyone said that this game was for the batting maestro-Sachin! <333
