LOL LadyM....this guy is VivIAN....not Vivan....haan but I remember that Vivan Bhatena was considered for this role....obviously he would've been much better in the role but then Twilight was never supposed to be about great actors, was it?? Can Robert Pattinson act as Edward either? Nopeeee....guess they wanted desi Edward to be just as pathetic too😆😆.....Good for Vivan that he isn't associated with this crapfest😆

You see Anu, I had the luck of watching the promo only after I had seen the second episode. So, I wasn't prepared for such an abla woman. From articles, I did gather that it will be a story about the relationship that this saas-bahu shares, and the male lead will be only there for the sake of having a lead. But seriously, the promo made me wanna punch Prem. I expect him to be invisible, not spineless. His wife was being shown out of the door, and all he kept doing was making 'somebody stop her' type of faces. He needed his mother to stop his wife! What a moron!

Hmmm, I am liking Dr.Kalyani too. She has a very dynamic personality. Nandini toh is whatever, at this point. Kalyani is gonna have a hard time pulling the burden of Nandini :P If Prem smiles a little less, and doesn't act as spineless as he did in the promo, then I am gonna like him too😊

EDIT: I watched so many scenes of PKYEK idhar-udhar se. My sister still 'hopes' to be amused by this crap, so she watches it when she can. Seriously, I gave up on this show. Me....who smells buffonery from 50 feet away from the TV....GAVE UP on THIS SHOW. What else will make her realize that this show is a lost cause?

This desi-edward tries to intimidate everyone, lowering his head slightly and then looking at people with those BLANK eyes. He thinks he is making an impression. Chindi namoona kahika. The real-edward at least managed to look constipated and in pain....this one is like totally expressionless.

I like that she's a DOCTOR firstly....not a housewife like they usually show....an educated, strong, sensible yet still so loving and maternal type of lady....I'm loving her character....she's a working woman yet she takes care of her family so nicely....even that Rahul from Sanjeevani....Mihir Mishra's character seems nice....Ishika (Ishaan's sister) from SGP is in it too😆.....only that Tara Bhabhi from Saat Phere seems to be negative in that family.

As for Prem....yeah I don't think I should hope much from his character or their love story😆.....I think it will be timepass types....but yeah, jab tak hai....he should atleast keep his oversmiling in check😆...sometimes I think doesn't GK get bored of playing the SAME character over and over again?? Hardly much difference from Abeer in this character....or the one he played in Kumkum or that Colors show before this....he was only different as PB I guess...but what a MEGA GHAATI show that was😆

But yeah, Prem seems like he's gonna be a very childish, brattish and spineless type of character who will have a lot of growing up to do while his abla naari wife suffers side by side😆

Mel - I agree with your POV. This is seriously pathetic. I told Anu the same thing about Priya Wal's character - it seems an extension of Ashi. Anyhoo, so far it is the most enjoyable one of the lot. Baki sab toh ... *shakes head*

Seriously desi Twilight is MAHA MEHHH....the only thing that made me laugh somewhat was Misha's character even though Priya is repeating her Ashi from Remix.....but still she's atleast GENUINELY funny in the show to some extent....the rest of them are beyondddddddddd boring🥱🥱🥱

@Anu....yup...her being a doctor is a refreshing and really interesting thing. An educated, sorted individual. Not like the stereotypical good sasumas.

GK is probably bored by playing the same role over and over again, but I don't really blame him. Given the profession he is in, this type of character is his 'safe zone'. Plus, after playing PB.....one is likely to lose faith on his judgement and go back to the stuff that was appreciated :P

And this is the product Ekta came up with after reshooting the show for infinite times and driving Vikas Goopta away because of that? original Harman ki haye lagi hai, for considering him in this show at first and then bringing that Tabeez or Tabrez guy in.

@LadyM....Yup, Misha is so far the only character that can be watched. Others are toh intolerable. But I just don't have the patience to watch this show. The snooze-fest that Ekta is producing these days....first TL and now this....I really hope she doesn't produce anything else in future. That show will act as a slow poison.

Maryada started last week. So basically, if you want to catch up from the beginning, you will have 9 episodes to watch. And even though I started watching the show for Aditya, I am liking Priya's individual track so much....more than Aditya-Priya love story. Sure, Priya's backstory is being focused on with the help of Aditya-Priya story, but even then, I am more eager to know about Priya's past and how she overcomes from the trauma and deals with her past, than how Aditya-Priya love story evolves (which would otherwise have been my only reason for watching the show :P).

Yeah I know it's his safe zone but he does these characters too back to back in quick succession and that is why it becomes overkill.....Abeer had hardly finished that he's back as an EVEN BUBBLIER Prem😕😆

I just finished watching the second epi of Maryada....and saw the entry of Aditya and the first Aditya-Priya scene....looks she was raped on a train by some policewallah....that's what she was getting flashbacks of.....and their first scene was good enough with the way he pulled her back from the edge of the platform and all until she blurted out that MAHA CLICHED "How dare you touch me?" line....sooooooooo typical, man! *headdesk*😆.....anyways I guess I have to watch aage to see why Aditya was smiling after she said this to him😕😆

*Edit: BTW is this a DJ's show?? Hmmmm wonder what that means for the future of this show😆
