^^ Yep, it is. To some extent though. Geet's plot till date is still strong unlike that of DMG and MJHT. PLUS the actors. DMG and MJHT actors made those scenes look cliched. And I think both Gurmeet and Drashti are good actors. I never found their romancing awkward or funny. I enjoy them rather BUT I know those kind of romance doesn't exist in real life. At least I haven't seen anywhere. 😛

@Anu : Like I said, to some extent it is. But the actors in the show can act and maybe that is why I don't find it cliched to such an extent. I know I would be bored of watching that show once the storyline degrades or the same romancing and Mahiii goes on.. But as of now, I'm very much enjoying it. 😃

LOL...Anu I didn't have anything to add before that...SGP ka toh you know Ishaan irritates me now...baki I need to catch up n LTL...so no comments there too..

LOL Riya, but that's dependent on perception, right? Even the actors in DMG and MJHT were good and deffo could act....Rati can act circles around Drashti anyday.....scenes are cliched regardless....and I personally don't see anything interesting to Geet's storyline...and I seriously doubt ANY of the ppl watching it watch it for it's "storyline"...everyone watches it for the chemistry b/w Geet-Maan that everyone is ga ga over despite there being nothing more to it than extremely cliched majorly stretched out eyelocks/trip-catch sequences/hawtness sequences.

Maybe the show works for you cuz it hasn't reached the slapstick levels of MJHT/CMG fully yet....but I'm sure it will soon enough....that is what every Star one "youth show" ultimately comes down to😆.....personally I'm not much of a fan of either Gurmeet or Drashti's acting so the show doesn't work for me *shrugs*

As of SGP.. more than the show, I love one of the characters of the show.. that's Badi Maa.. She made me cry! 😊 And I watch SGP cuz it's lighthearted and a good TP.. But a disadvantage, I know the whole story of SGP as it's adapted from the bengali show "Ogo Bodhu Shundori" .. I'm a bengali.. Though I haven't watched the show, I know it's story.. It's very popular in Kolkata..

LOL Riya....SGP is TP to you? Timepass? A show with an ACTUAL storyline?😆......ahh yeah I'm aware that it's a remake of OBS....there's a lot of Bengali members in the SGP forum also who've mentioned it. I love SGP....it's the only daily show I watch regularly these days. I love the family, the character interactions and the positivity in the show.

It amuses me.....exactly at WHAT point would you start to find the "romantic" scenes in Geet actually repetitive? Anytime I see a sig/avi around IF, they all look like the SAME scene repeated with the SAME standard eyelocks/hugs/whatever over and over and overrrrrrrrr again....where exactly is the 'novelty' to that anymore?

KSG can act and so can Jenny. But when Shilpa was Riddhima, I couldn't stand DMG at all. 😛 And I agree, it depends on everyone's perception. And according to mine, Gurmeet and Drashti can act. I'm a disliker of both Rati and Arjun. So no comments! 😛 I was a BIG SaJan fan once but all the craze has gone now. I was very well aware of the fact that Mohit can't act but refused to believe it. But I do now though. 😆 I like Sanaya. I find her good. To play a character like Gunjan.. And that too for someone like Sanaya who is such a vibrant and bubbly person, I must say she's good! Well, I watch Geet for two reasons. One, the chemistry between Maneet and the second reason is the storyline. For me, story is the most important aspect of a serial. No actors, couples or characters can save the show if the story is not good.

And yep, like I said, let Geet reach the level of MJHT/DMG and then I'll be done. 😆 But, I'm enjoying now. 😃
