Has anyone else, other than Kavya, watched Anjaana Anjaani? I watched it today. The concept itself is retarded😳.
Keeping the concept way out of your mind, I found some bits of the movie otherwise amusing. Seriously, there were some scenes/dialogues which were really funny. I liked Ranbir Kapoor's character, Akash. Found him quite cute.
Miss Kiara was da*n annoying. Starting from her name to her outfits to her character sketch, everything was so wannabee-ish. I have no idea how a person, who is gonna commit suicide after 20 days, behaves....but Kiara was being absolutely a mental case. Akash's behaviour and all were far more ummm....not realistic....dunno...maybe believable. I so disliked Kiara. Couldn't they have given her a less wannabee type of name? It was like their attempt of showing the 'unique' personality of her character. BLAH!!!!!!
The picturization of Tujhe Bhula Diya could have been better, but well, Ranbir Kapoor's expression and all were good enough. And Kiara's reason for wanting to die was just as pathetic as her 'oooh-look-how-cool-and-happening-i-am--how-awesomely-i-am-living-each-day-before-killing-myself' character. She wanted to die because her longtime boyfriend (her childhood love) two-timed with her🤢. Despite the fact that I believe no reason in the world can justify suicide act, Akash's financial loss/burden seemed quite a reasonable reason for wanting to die.
Oh, and the shirtless scene of Akash, with Kiara slowly walking towards him and wiping the shaving foam from the corner of his face reminded me so much of Star One shows😆.
Anywho, overall the film was pointless and with a psychotic concept, however, I wasn't bored by the film. I think if one wishes s/he can watch the film couple of times. Priyanka should really do some dynamic sort of role, something which has material.
This pic of Castle has got me irritated with the show ever since I saw it. And it was right after I saw the Bones pic with Brennan-Booth sitting in this manner on the trunk or whatever.
