Hey Shivang, thought I would leave you alone, huh?😉😉 Haha, no indeed.Ha ha ha. I was waiting for the 2nd round ever since the first round. 😊 I have completed 3 out of 6 running commentary assignments from Lola and still working over them. But these will be sponteneous to reply. So here I go. Still I have problem with my connectivity and opening CC pages and pressing 'like' button so I am replying to all the three posts in just one post pasting from word file..😔Got another set of questions for you, are ya ready?Lolzzzz. Ready.👍🏼1. If you could have an endless supply of any food, what would you get?Home made butter with sault 😊, some of the fruits especially green grapes, chocolate icecream, Panipuri/Golgappa. Strictly answering the question, otherwise I would ask God for the balance of attitude in me ' equal liking in me for all nuitritious, beneficial and balanced food rather than a particular food because not a single type of food can be such which can be good for us if taken in excess quantity.2. If you were an animal, what would you be and why?
I am Tauras according to the month of my birth and also very firm/loyal in my decisions & aim of life and stable (in a positive way) and rigid (in negative way) in my thinking. My thoughts can change naturally on their own by reflection, observation and analysis but somebody else can't change my thoughts or attitudes or decisions. So I can be a BULLOCK 😃. Usually very silent (lost in own world ' apne hi vichaaron me magan 😃) and peaceful but can be extremely aggressive when challenged. Bullock is also helpful in ploughing so feeds the men that way.😊 Cow is the most sacred animal of Hinduism. So that way also it suits to my choice. Moreover, and very importantly, Bullock is the vehicle/vaahan of Goddess Shailputri (Our family deity ' my beloved mother) being the vaahan of Shivji. And bullock is supposed to be there among the herd of Cows of Lord Krishna also obviously always. 😊 This was regarding mostly my nature or origin as per Sun sign. If you ask me about my most favourite animal, then it is ELEPHANT. Very interesting to be seen by or to be shown to a child. Powerful and yet harmless normally. Very good memory. Socially sensitive. Intelligence close to humans. Vegetarian. Lord Ganesha's face also reminds us about the same. It can live in the jungle also and it can also be a pet animal though very expensive.😃 As a child, Elephant (good) and Crockodile (bad) are the two amusing animals or I can say the two animals who always attracted my interest as a little kid. Gaj-graah battle & Gajendra Moksha mythological story was also my most favourite when I was little.3. What is one goal you'd like to accomplish during your lifetime?Well if I could (if I had the hypnotizing super power asked by Aishi), then I would like to make the thinking of everybody I know just like me or greater than me of course to make them feel and think what I feel and think about life and God (Because I am very very happy and satisfied with my life and my philosophy); and would wish them to attain unshakeable faith on and selfless devotion to God without any materialistic desires or attachment to the world and ego. I would like them to love and only love God and all creatures just for the sake of loving. But that is not something which I would waste my time knowing my limitations against nature (except only as far as possible and comes in front as duty or natural reaction); so my only simple aim in life is to leave this body remembering HIM in any little corner of a small hut or small room preferably a temple; and for that till then, just to live the life naturally in devotion and best possible quality of work of my profession till I retire (As early as possible of course).4. When you were little, who was your favorite super hero and why?You know the answer. Hanumanji. 😊 Now that I am not kid, he is my most favourite devotee so not super hero but supreme hero.😊5. Who is your hero? (a parent, a celebrity, an influential person in one's life)Krishna, Ram & Hanuman. Or else in more practical sense (in terms of people we come across), genuine great simple sages (But I wouldn't search them or wouldn't be curious to know the info about great spiritual figure heads or wouldn't get influenced by any individual philosophy of any one sampradaay around but would only feel for them with automatic natural respect when naturally come across in life) & innocent devotee elders (Jo saansaarik drishti se paagal dikhaayee de). I don't believe in compulsory need of a Guru to attain God (I mean to be the only way) because I believe that Lord himself is our Guru through Bhagwad Geeta or sitting in our own conscience always and teach us through all his forms observed around. If any Guru is needful, then I think I have got that hero already in childhood in the form of Ramanand Sagar.6. What's your favorite thing to do in the summer?I usually have busiest summers. When I was in school, I used to study the next standard subjects in advance on my own with curiosity and enthusiasm (Also of course along with activities like cricket, video game, movies at home ' but they were routine also so nothing specifically related with summers except with just a bit more intensity or freedom). When I was pursuing CA & MBA, we used to have our exams in the month of May. And after exams, outstation audit immediately. Now in teaching profession (private coaching), summer vacation batches is the busiest time in the year too. If at all I get long vacation (irrespective whether summer or winter), I am a homing bird and not fond of travelling anywhere, so would prefer home the most. If at all I would leave home, I would prefer to go alone at some solitary place. And BTW summer is my most favourite season anyway (Most suitable to my body).7. If they made a movie of your life, what would it be about and which actor would you want to play you?It would be about devotion like the movie 'Maalik' of Rajesh Khanna but there won't be any heroine in the movie.😃 Plenty of sisters of the hero though.😃 The story would focus on choice of profession or academic field. The story would be about dislike of earning activity or economic activity for the sake of earning (man who needs motivation to work only through the pleasure in the work itself and love with customers) and wait for early retirement age to engage in full time devotion. The story would be regarding a person very different in thoughts & choices from everyone around ' even friends and family and the one who has seen egos, anger, hatred, jealousy, politics, dishonesty, money-mindedness around in life everywhere and felt for it but now has become completely tough to accept the nature as it is.😊 And the hero can be anyone. It wouldn't matter to me as long as he can act rightly showing my real nature on screen. If you want my choice, then it can only be youngest Amitabh Bachchan when he arrived in Bollywood and then whenever he worked in Hrishikesh Mukharjee movies. I can't think of any present hero. Because I can't find any movies of devotion now which are social stories also rather than just mythological movies.8. If you were an ice cream flavor, which one would you be and why?If you ask my favourite flavour then you know it now. Chocolate icecream. But since the question is different, the answer should also be in different sense. I don't have to eat myself but I have to be the flavour for others. Then I would like to be a PLAIN VANILLA. Simplicity. No flavour but only simple white colour with calary and energy. Any flavour can be added in it.9. What's your favorite cartoon character, and why?'Donald Duck' because of its dubbing voice (both in English and especially in Hindi). But I have watched Tom & Jerry much more though than Walt Disney cartoons.10. If you could visit any place in the world, where would you choose to go and why?Any peaceful solitary temple or aashram with natural beauty around where I can get freedom to live. And I think the reason is implied in the adjectives used.11. What's the ideal dream job for you?Bhajan-kirtan or just deep thinking.12. Are you a morning or night person?Nishaachar (But always at home only).😆🤣 Very highly efficient mind in the night. For spiritual experiences & devotion & blissful feeling, I love the morning time (Where I am hardly awake 😃 😔) ' or anytime for that matter ' afternoon or evening also if peace around; but for work (application of mind for my studies or profession or internet discussions), the best time is the night time. It wasn't the case until 18-20 years of my age but CA course was powerful enough to get that talent of working at night out of me.🤣. CA course did the job of Jambuvan for me to make me aware about my abilities at that end of teenage.😆 Then the entire nights were given to MBA projects. Mostly the day time would be spent by mind in natural spiritual or philosophical thoughts and then pressure to do the work over worldly subject will be realized gradually and progressively during the day to accomplish the targets of the day well by extending the work hours to night.13. What are your favorite hobbies?Other than our old mytho serials and spirituality, old bollywood music & movies of 60s-70s and Cricket (watching and playing both) ' But watching Cricket will be my hobby only for a few years now until Sachin Tendulkar will be playing. For me, there is nothing much to watch in Cricket left thereafter.14. What are your pet peeves or interesting things about you that you dislike?Late night waking and late getting up and irregular timing of hunger.15. What's the weirdest thing you've ever eaten?Probably not weird enough to stay in memory.16. Name one of your favorite things about someone in your family. My Grandmother's life. Her devotion, social relations (her social circle of that generation) and fame.17. Tell us about a unique or quirky habit of yours.Testing and experimenting with nature by deliberately teasing someone and making him/her angry (testing others' emotions or patience or balance of mind or unbiasedness of mind); or deliberately getting angry on someone for some good purpose by using anger as a tool with control over it always ' I am not sure about the correctness of this and hence it is quirky but that's why I said experimenting habit. I take huge risk in all my relationships many times by being very blunt about my thinking or about others' thinking for better long term understanding rather than daily unnatural formalities. And that momentary experimentation is usually on the extreme opposite side of my normal natural behaviour. For example, a person would exaggeratingly present himself bad/teasing/poor/uneducated (which actually he is not) to get the real & true loving and trustworthy relation who can accept him in all situations and then would show the real nature later which would be like under promise but over delivery ' consumer's surplus. This might make me lose some good relations (before being built up ' only at the initiation stage but never in case of established relations) too who just get misconception about my inner nature due to my outside behaviour but usually those who really come in slightest of deeper contact with me know this aspect of nature as well. I also don't express my feeling of love or emotions towards others. But when I do express, they are expressed in the most natural, informal, genuine & deep manner. They are rarely expressed but they are expressed in the most unique manner. Either poetically or by silent conduct only and not by the spoken words like we daily communicate. And the timing & manner of expressing love is always my natural choice and not the way the other person wants because I don't bother about the result.18. If you had to describe yourself using three words, it would be'Seeker of balance (Sthitpragya state of mind)19. If someone made a movie of your life would it be a drama, a comedy, a romantic-comedy, action film, or science fiction?Completely serious drama ' but had it been a serial, then a drama with plenty of scope of comedy in frequent pieces.20. If I could be anybody besides myself, I would be'Ideally, it should be the spouse in general in others' case (for those who are having self awareness and self control characteristics - otherwise the spouse shouldn't be having the same nature but having complementary characteristics); but not applicable in my case (not because I am not self aware but because of other reason some of the members in the CC know) - so it can be anybody depending upon the situation at anytime. It would be everybody around or if it can strictly be only one, then it should be fluctuating ' whosoever is with me at any moment talking.
- If you were a comic strip character, who would you be and why?
I am in fact a comic character among my friends. I make them laugh by creating humour about myself and laughing at my own unique, strange and stubborn personality. I completely become free child while talking to them personally face to face. They take pride of themselves that they could know and understand a unique piece like me, which looks strange & complex to everybody else 😆🤣. Each & every one of them can bet with others that they know my character & aim of life better than anybody else because I am a character difficult to digest by most people to be present among them.My favourite bollywood comedian is Om Prakash ' so some of his matured but comic characters performed.Among the current, I would say Aatmaaram Tukaram Bhide's character in Taarak Meheta ka Ooltah chashma, taken as base, a few adjustments made in that character can suit to my personality. Unmarried Bhide with aim of devotion in life and can laugh at himself often and aware about own laughable characteristics. Arre hamaare zamaane me to kya mytho serials hua karti thi, kya movies hua karte the, kya music hua karta tha, kya cricket hua karta tha.😊
- What thought or message would you want to put in a fortune cookie?
My Krishna meeting me and talking to me in any form with my total knowledge while talking to him that he is Krishna.😊 If I can control myself in such situation emotionally, then daily ' O my friend Krishna, tu rehena sath hamesha.😃
- If you had to give up a favorite food, which would be the most difficult to give up?
I can give up any food ' even my most favourite food because usually I am very difficult person to catch for lunch or dinner. I would always try to find reasons to avoid taking food and would be able to fast most naturally and easily though rarely fast as a rule. I would like to take food only once a day if the family members get convinced.😊 I like to eat sit for the meal only when I am very hungry and when you are really very hungry, which food is there to eat doesn't matter much. At least you can have 1st round of any food very easily and quickly. From the second round onwards (when hunger is quite satisfied), issue of likes & dislikes of tastes and items really arises; and by that time, food intake is sufficient for my liking of quantity if I have to eat twice/thrice a day. I can take food and water both in a big bulk quantity if I have to take them only once a day like a camel and then can sustain for the entire day.😃
- What is one food you'd never want to taste again?
Onion-Garlic ' because we don't eat them for religious reasons and I have tasted them sometimes by mistake out of home (mistake of the person serving). No question of replying non-veg because you have used the word AGAIN in your question.
- If you won a lottery ticket and had a million dollars, what would you do with it?
I would simply give it to my father as I have been doing with all my earnings so far.😊
- You've been given access to a time machine. Where and when would you travel to?
In Treta yug from Ayodhya to Lanka (different manvantaras and kalpas) and Dwapar yug ' Braj, Mathura & Dwarika.😊
- If you could be any superhero and have super powers, which one would you like to have and why?
I had replied to Aishi's similar question saying that I would like to enter into others' body or to hypnotize them in favour of devotion. But I reply over here differently because I think that question was "ONE superpower". Here your question is "SUPER POWERS" (plural). Since I am allowed to have multiple super powers, then like Hanumanji, Angad and others, I would like to have the ability to trace the location of people by their characteristics and ability to identify them rightly (intentions in their mind and their wrongful deeds done), fly, grow, shrink, increase-decrease body weight, appear-disappear and most importantly to be able to take anybody's form. By getting such powers, I would like to threaten all corrupt & unjust people in the world who misuse their power in the politics or in the office or in the family. I will take any random form, will locate such people, will fly to them, will enlarge my form, will catch them and fly upto the sky, will ask them whether they will repeat the same ("Will you take bribe again?", "Will you beat your wife again?", "Will you harass your mother in law or daughter in law again?"[:d] "Will you spoil the mind of your husband and encourage him to take wrong paths to earn money again?"😃 etc) wrong deeds or not. And if they agree not to do it again, then I will leave them. If they do it again, then next time I will throw them from very high in the sky and will catch them after some distance (after ensuring that their heart organ is good 😃) in the air before they hit the earth. Weapon of fear to remove the evil from the world (Like Kamal Hasan's movie Hindustani). But I would not take from anybody anything which I can't return back even if he is a terrorist or a murderer. If at all, I have to kill a professional killer ever, that should not be by using these powers but only by human abilities only otherwise it would amount to misuse of powers. Anyhow Brahmin's duty is not to punish the evil but to forgive the evil. Non-violence.
- Mount Rushmore honors four U.S. presidents: Washington, Jefferson, Lincoln, and Roosevelt. If you could add any person to Mount Rushmore, who would you add and why?
I am not sure what to answer over here so I skip this.
- What award would you love to win and for what achievement?
Greatest fan of Ramayan serial (upto Ravan vadh or Rajyabhishek). It would be a lovely award. 😊 Just kidding. For that, most members of this CC will have to be the judge only and not contestants.😃
- If you could transport yourself anywhere instantly, where would you go and why?
If the places should be of this world only then in Ramayan times to watch the entire Ramayan happening in front of my eyes (or any of the Krishnaleelas). But that requires God's grace. If the time should be current only then to any the place where there is spiritual and peaceful atmosphere (a temple which has not yet got a publicity and hence is away from crowd therefore)
- In your opinion, which animal is the best (or most beautiful) and why?
The best is cow for religious or mythological reasons, my most favourite is elephant due to childhood attraction or emotional reasons, and most beautiful bird is probably peacock (not much thought/analyzed comparatively about outward beauty in deep of animals actually). But now I can see beauty in every animal and none is really my favourite when I see discovery or animal planet or national geography. If we see closely, there is beauty in all animals. There is something which is common in all - life, nature. That's beauty. All are God's amazing creations. That's beauty. The little babies of all animals are equally beautiful whether pig or rabbit, deer or lion.
- What is one item that you really should throw away, but probably never will?
Nothing because there are the things, which I think, I should throw away but none of them can be such, which I can't throw away. If there is really the thing to be thrown away, a time would naturally come confidently I can say when I would be able to do it. Probably throwing it away is not immediate urgent priority felt among other virtues to develop in our character or deeds to be done.
- Growing up, what were your favorite toys to play with as a child?
Platic cricket kit. Then later wooden Cricket bat with rubber ball or tennis ball.Plastic cars (to dismantle mostly 😃), baloons. After Ramayan, wooden weapon toys.😊 Then storybooks (Amar Chitrakatha comics of mythological, historical and fairytales characters). And now for the essay question.😉Please give at least a paragraph answer for the following question (though I expect much more from you😆):Lolzzzzzz. I am glad that you have understood me so well now.😆 Let's see:What is your opinon about today's Indian youngsters dating instead of agreeing to arranged marriages like their parents and ancestors? Why do you think many youngsters are against arranged marriages today? Is it because they are adhering to the western view that arranged marriages are 'barbaring' and 'restraining', or could it be something else?If I give my reply only on the basis of actual examples in my circle around (not in general from all economic classes in all cities through media information), then in educated middle class, there is no conflict between arranged marriage and love marriage concepts. Most of my friends (Almost all) & relatives are from the school of thought of arranged marriage. So the above transformation is not at least practically observed by me in my direct contact. I have seen 5-10 love marriage cases in my graduation life and post graduation life and just a couple of love affairs of my students. Percentage of love marriage cases is still very low in the known culture around in my city and community. But what I meant to say by using the words "there is no conflict in educated middle class" is that in that class, relations to begin with love end up being arranged marriage (because people just seeing each other in college or at work place propose the other, and that other person instead of replying himself/herself conveys this to his/her parent and then family talks start with kundali/janmakshar etc. So just a few meetings ' then one side love ' then proposal ' then family meetings ' then marriage. So we can't call this to be either arranged marriage or love marriage. Opposite to that, those which are completely arranged to begin with become love marriage due to frequent dating allowed before saying 'YES'. People of the same caste arrange the first meeting with Kundalis. If the boys and girls and both families consider all aspects worth to move further, then further datings are arranged. Then boys and girls meet alone with freedom of their families with the purpose for sufficient number of times to share intellectually their thoughts and also to end up generating emotions for each other before the families finally commit to each other. Only introduction arranged ' then dating ' then mutual love developed ' then decisions from both sides ' then marriage. So arranged marriage and love marriage concepts are complicatedly mixed up in many of the marriages. Mostly the culture you are talking about, is found in rich class of metro cities only. I think if they don't like arranged marriages then there could be the influence of movies or craze of adopting the western culture probably in many cases but at the same time, positively speaking, some of them have the broad minded logic behind them also. If the parents themselves don't mind from the beginning and have given freedom to the children to find their partners on their own from very young age, then there is no question of morality then. They have more guts to oppose also though. Mainly I think they would prefer love marriages because of the fact that 'a known devil is better than unknown friend'. If at all there are certain limitations in the partner they have already chosen, that is always better than the person you are totally unaware of (because purposeful 3-4 meetings wouldn't reveal certain hidden traits of the nature). There are many love marriages examples which are not successful and arranged marriage examples which are successful and also vice versa. But the reason in favour of love marriages which they can give is that if at all the marriage life is not successful, they would be happy that they won't be blaming their parents but only they themselves would be responsible (Like in the movie 'Yaaden' it is shown or like Farahan argues with his father in 3 idiots regarding choice of profession). Arranged marriage advocate would give completely opposite and very good justification that surrendering to your parents' choice relieves you from any sort of decision making dilemma. Then whatever might happen in your life, you can accept it as your fortune (rather than parents' fault because you willingly agreed to arranged marriage knowing fully well that even your parents couldn't know the girl/boy that well anyhow) and you wouldn't be blaming yourself.Do you think the media plays a role in our Indian youngsters becoming more westernized, or does the media only portray society as it is?A bit of both. Media portrays a smaller section of the society as it is and influences the remaining section of the society to become like that irrespective of the manner or intention in which the news are conveyed (commercial or non-commercial ' cheap profit making or responsible journalism). Even the negative publicity effort (of discouragin western culture) on the part of media might work as reverse psychology in the minds of the viewers. They don't have brains to catch the essence you want to convey even if your intention is good. If you show them the crimes happening around with the intention to stop them, people unknown about those crimes will learn what type of unknown crimes do take place around and can be committed. They would catch the information you convey and use it for their own way of comforting their life. They want minimum of rules and maximum of freedom of behaviour so would choose naturally the more flexible culture than the restricting culture. Like many movies show what actually happens, but after those movies, that activity is adopted at a larger scale. In marriages, the tradition of stealing the shoes was already there but only in a state or two in few communities. After the movie Ham aapke hain kaun, we see that tradition in all marriages in all communities impliedly to be coming.Do you think 'true love' only occurs if one 'gets to know' their partner through dating and taking part in intimacy before marriage, or can true love occur after marriage without the couple knowing each other beforehand? Both are possible. After all, it is the matter of getting the correct match in terms of thoughts and simple nature and nature of giving up for the relation. Even after many datings, relationships may break after many years. Even without dating, good people can live very loving life with each other because if they can naturally love anyone easily then this relation itself is special and even more so when many thoughts match from both sides incidentally. What do you think parents should do today to bring up their children on the right path instead of adhering to the western customs of dating, live-in relationships, etc?I think if the arranged marriage concept is really fixed in mind in the childhood only and there is no love marriage example around in the same family, the children are easily and naturally not going to cross that social limit of the culture set by family even after seeing, enjoying and clapping love marriages in movies. It's not about disliking the either concept, but you would have chosen in your case suitable according to the family thinking right from the childhood set in your mentality. So there are rare chances of change in that mentality. If somebody go against, then it can only be because of some actual example found before or the family members themselves allowing since very little age or if the person himself/herself might have declared his/her intentions to do so innocently and strictly from the child age. Like one of my friends had arranged marriage culture in family, but he had told parents ever since he was small child, that he would only go for a love marriage (even if first in their family ever probably I don't know) , then parents were already prepared. In that case, such person can have the guts to go against the tradition. And he did love marriage because he was determined to do that only from the beginning. We will see more and more love marriage culture in the next generation now because of the impact of the movies and western culture since the parents themselves would wish now for their children to do love marriage since either they themselves would have done love marriage or that would have been their wish which they couldn't follow for themselves ' a cultural tradition they would like to change with new beginning starting with their children. I am not advocate or protestant of either concept. There are pros and cons in both. In arranged marriage, you have many alternatives available to choose one. In love marriage, there is possibility of impulsive rather than intellectual decision ' mere attraction rather than actually lovable characteristics identified for long term. But in arranged marriage, there is unethical issue when you have to reject a person. When you say 'NO' on the ground of looks or caste or economic background (even after looking biodata and arranging first meeting), that is hurting and unethical. When to stop looking further cases is a problem (Satisfaction issue because everyone wants perfect partner in absolute sense rather than perfect match to oneself). In love marriages, going against the will of parents & making them objects of social criticism in their circle is the selfish part. A proper combination of both would be sensible because even the morality of parents' wish will also be maintained in that along with own choice freedom.Regarding the word 'live in' relationship, I would say that I would look too much innocent to comment because, honestly speaking, I don't know much about it since I don't watch current movies or current shows or hollywood movies other than action movies or don't even have much interest in news paper or news channel being the teacher of all fundamental subjects. I came to know about such word only through two of our CC members when they said about it for NDTV serial actors. Then I realized that they are talking perhaps something like what is shown in the movie 'Independence day' with Will Smith. I don't see anything wrong morally in dating (because that has now become part and partial of arranged marriage also if I am correct enough to call them as well as dating). For 'Live in', I wouldn't comment much whether it is moral or immoral or morally neutral concept. Logical or illogical or logically neutral concept. I think from what I have understood, I would begin with saying that it is immoral and logic neutral concept and then will be upto others to correct me. Anyway, I think this last para is off topic.Lols, I know that is a lot of questions to address, but something tells me you'll enjoy answering this one.Of course. I always enjoy.😊Can't wait to hear what you say!😉😉I still can't press like button most of the time and have connectivity problem ' it takes 10 minutes for 1 minute job and therefore posted the answers of your three posts in just one big lengthy post 😔 but here it is ready for you 😊. It took me the entire day and countless number of attempts to post this despite being ready yesterday only.😊
