Wohi toh! When he walked down, stood in front of Nakku and waited for her reaction he had me! And when he asked her if he didn't look good - bass jee, main toh clean bowled! Me tooooooooooo! I was waiting to see if someone else felt that way about that bit too! Thank you Fivr! LOL....seriously the way he said that was so adorable.....he totally had me there too! *sigh*đ I mean I've seen far far far worst dress up (CKP shirts.. *shudders*) that make appearances out of no where! This is still okay. And if I do head on into TIN territory, then the man has been out of practice and out of style for 10 years! He hasn't worn something like this since Seema. I liked the natural aspect of his clumsy get up. Not all of us know how to dress like super models right off the bat. It takes years of practice and experience. He tried to "look good" for his wife using his limited and aged fashion sense and it was just for her! I mean come on, the kurtas he wears are greats but they are all gray/black/navy blue shades. It doesn't take rocket science to wear a fully assembled kurta set. He tried. He worked at it. He might not have taken our breath away with his fashion sense but I'd be more annoyed if he looked like a rock star in his first attempt at jeans and blazers - and this is strictly from a character point of view. To me, his clumsy color combination just showed how much of an effort he put in and how it's been a while for him (which it has!). Oh I just LOVEEEEE how you've put this! I hadn't fully thought of it that way but now that you're saying it makes so much more sense....everything adds up....he tried to dress differently for a change after a long time....and to do it from the heart....and yeah the clumsy aspect of it did make it natural! So true! Honestly I think if it was just a matter of throwing a costume on to someone, then this matter would be finished....but it's the other little aspects that MR brought to it as Dutta....like the way he walked down and said, "main theek nahin lag raha hoon"? awww....see it's bits like these that make the characters....then I couldn't care less what he's wearingđ.....and I loved the bit where he took the aarti from her too when she offered it to him.....honestly I dunno if it's just that I'm a hopeless fangirl but I literally seem to be đ at every gesture of this man!đ....did you notice that other bit I mentioned earlier? When he paused to kinda half glance back at her before leaving??
