ok abt coke studio ... arshi its a music program of abt 5 hr long episodes per season... third season ended this sunday

they bring in artist ... pop singers ... rock bands .. newbies .. classic singers ... and they sing live with a live band.. but the twist is that the style is changed ..as in music of different genres is fused in so the final product is different from the original ..

like with atif aslam ... jalpari was fused with nusrat fateh ali khan's tu meri jaan .... and the music was also different from the original ...

this season the focus was on folk music . classical singing and again it was different .... a punjabi folk song sung with heavy metal style ... a pashto song fused with funk music ... the result is incredible music ...

this season some songs werent that good but those that were .. they were wow ... one of them(a punjabi folk song but they brought in female singers to sing along with the male and music was decidedly western) has already got over a million views on coke studios official channel on YT .. and from the comments seen on their FB page ... there are plenty of Indians following the show 😊

u check ^^ page out .. i dont know how good or bad job i ve done of explaining but oh since the program is sponsored by coke .. i guess the name comes in the title for that reason 😆
