@LadyM.....yeah, i got that pattern after reading four Judith McNaught's books. You are so right, it is for these very reasons that these novels doesn't leave an everlasting mark. Reading those books reminded me of watching hindi serials again. Same story, different characters, different settings. Nonetheless, I still like Ian-Elizabeth better than the other three couples from the other three books.....but maybe that's because Almost Heaven was the first McNaught book I read. So despite the unnecessary description which is meant to keep readers pleased and hooked to the story, I found the characterization of the leads relatively 'original' if compared to the characterization of other leads from other books.
@Mash.....yeah, I actually read four Judith McNaught books, and actually liked one of them, and eventually got bored with her style of writing and all. Dude, you are so right. Half my time went skipping this and that part, which is why it took me merely some hours to get done with each books....hahahaha. Now I am reading David Ellis's 'Eye of the Beholder'.....and will spend some more days reading other books that I can enjoy completely😃.
I watched the DE interview....will comment on it when someone is around😆.
