"Each New Day"

When I awaken the morning of each new day,
I look to You LORD and thus say,
Please LORD help me to follow your way
throughout this coming day;

For You've taught me to understand the confrontations
of both sorrow and joy which can evolve,
You helped me all throughout my life
and often when others said no;

However, through my faith in You, with Your guidance
You showed me the way to achieve and go,
Often peoples lives can become problematical at various times;

Yet, with their faith in You, You'll show them the way,
if they would just learn how to pray,
Now, through my life's many accomplishments,
it's time for me to help others even more;

To communicate these things through the elements of friendship and love,
Rather than letting others become depressed in their life even more;

And when the day is over, I say in my prayers at night,
"thank You LORD for your love, grace, guidance, and another day of life."
