Haha, I have more of a tan than I want also, but that is due to last weekend. Friends always make things better. True, I agree with you about Shyamalan. The thing is that I actually liked Lady in the Water, and that was his original idea. Here, he takes a brilliant template, a good t.v. show that references certain Japanese concepts and butchers it. I like Aasif Mandvi in it. Actually, I saw a play he did in NYC once a long time ago. But that does not excuse his kind of racist casting as well as dragging things out for no reason? The editing of this film and random haphazardness in the screenplay in terms of how the events lack continuity are just awful. I wish I was under the influence of something seeing this movie. Being stone cold sober made it that much more painful.

And I really should go to sleep soon I think.
