Mash - Ooh you've read 'The Undomestic Goddess', lol I just found that book okay... It had a lot of melodrama in it, and the ending was totally abrupt... I was asking my librarian if there were any pages missing... Haha... And I read SEP too.... She's one of my favorites along with Judith McNaught... Nora Robers ka tho I've just read Sanctuary and some other random book whose name I dont remember... The trouble with reading NR for me is, while she seems to be a good writer and quite adept at writing romances... Her romance-mysteries fail to show that kind of skill in her writing as neither the romance nor the mystery is as compelling as 'pure romance' novels or 'pure mystery' novels... But anyways to be fair, this is only my judgement from Sanctuary... haven't read her other books... That's why I want you guys to recommend some to me.... You can check out my reviews of SK and SEP and JM's books on my list if your interested: http://listology.com/prodigalstudent/list/romancechic-lit-books-ive-read-reviews
And you wanna read other genres as well? Along with romance, I love reading mystery novels so anytime you want recommendations on that, just ask! Btw, have you read this book called 'The Hunger Games' by Suzanne Collins... You should deffo read it, it''s brilliant... One of the most gripping and exciting books I've read, everrr... It is completely unputdownable... Basically the gist of the story is this, there are 12 districts (well actually 13 districts but the 13th one is said to be destroyed)... 2 teens are chosen from each district from a random draw, one boy and one girl... and then all the 24 contestants are then made to fight to the death in the arena... However, it is not a voilent book as the premise makes it sound... It is so much more than that, its about dystopia, loyalty, rebellion... and it has a great twist in the ending...
