Hi Everyone!!!
"Les Miserables" - Good drama without too much melodrama.....
The book is so HUGE!!! Only read the first 60 pages because the characters were written really small and all french authors from the 19th century are painful to read except for the poets......

I think I've watched all the "Miserables" movies or TV production...
It's like one of the french drama the most adaptated....with the Revolution and Napoleon....

guess you found it boring compared to other more dramatic and romantic french movies.
Sometimes the French make nice movies even about very simple subjects, but they are quite artfully done.

I'm talking about the book and specifically the "Romantism" wave in the 19th century....
To describe a red curtain it takes like 20 pages to do so...yeah that's painful...to read but I prefer Flaubert....rather than Hugo..but that's just me...
