Smita dee,main prob is if Telangana happens,Rayalaseema should happen too..And if it does then there are so many states in waiting which is one of the reasons,Congress is keeping mum on the issue..We just can't split the country into so many states..It's doing no good for the state and in turn doing nothing for the country..If the effect was the opposite then it would have been a different thing.

See Smita ji...3 ppl & 1hr of discussion, we ended up with 4 parts...Just imagine what would happen with millions of ppl, and few days maybe months of discussion! I don't oppose ur views, I totally respect them...But i just don't like the feel of "we andhrites/telaganites/hyderabadis" as opposed to the feel of "we telugus/indians".

But we don't know the ground reality..even if you are from hyderabad.

When it comes to countries and governments you have to think of things in the long run.

Where do you have demand for a state,where people have a problem.
Why wasn't the land reform movement successful in Andhra and Madhya Pradesh.
Because the people in power were the ones with large landholdings.
That is why you have a such a big naxalite movements in these states.
suppressing the demand is not oing to help this problem.It may come back with bigger force and more violence.
