Komalika enters Bidaai

Kamalika Guha Thakurta popularly called as Gayatri chachi of Kyunki fame is back on TV with Star Plus' Sapna Babul Ka Bidaai. She will be seen guiding Sadhana in an important cameo on the show.

We spoke to Kamalika Guha Thakurta, "I am playing Vidya Shastri, a classical dance teacher. She is completely dedicated to her art and believes that the youngsters have no respect for the rich art and culture of the country. According to her, the younger generation wants quick results and has no respect for the beautiful dance-forms synonymous to our culture."

Further, she told us that, "I will play mentor to Sadhana, who convinces me to teach her dance for a dance festival. Firstly, Vidya Shastri is very hesitant of teaching her but then seeing her conviction, she decides to teach her."

Later we asked her if she is following the show, "When I got this role, I had given the details about the track happening but I don't have time to follow this show on a regular basis now but I am glad that I am working on the top 5 shows on TV and it's always pleasure to work with Star Plus."

What made you to say yes for this cameo? "I would like to say that it's a cameo, personally I am a trained classical dancer and for me, it's very easy to play the roleespecially when it is Star and that too Bidaai – such a successful show on TV."

An Indya source tells us, "She will play mentor to Sadhna, who in fact wants to participate in the Natraj Mahotsav for the prize money. Sadhana needs money and she wants to win the Natraj Mahotsav and in the competition two sisters will come face to face Ragini vs Sadhna.
