What's up with these people man...I mean why are they suggesting songs?? Did somebody said that they are gonna HAVE a song sequence or is it just avein to have some fun on weekend.

To answer your question: They are suggesting songs because of the DDLJ promo.. 🤢 They think SG can carry off Tujhe Dekha type songs..

The only time I ever suggested songs was when PD the great ASKED for suggestions around the time of M's realization....and I learnt my lesson that time....lol

Anyways seriously speaking you know one song I'd realllly LOVED to have been used/[icturized for MN's confession/realization... would be 'Socha Na Tha' from Socha Na Tha... What a beautiful song and so so apt for MN! 😍 Better than Jaage Jaage atleast!

I love the SNT title song *sigh* It's really close to my heart.....but they rarely give us soft/poignant moments enough on MN for that song to apply...cuz it's a soft number.

So forum update.....now someone just made a post saying that Nupur dreamt of Raj all her life but ironically Gunjan is the one who got a Raj....a.k.a Sammy boy a la the new promo😆

Anyways surprisingly enough I'm not too fussed about the song selection, if there's one thing that PM has taught me is that you don't need a great, super-hit conventional popular typical romantic BG score to make a romantic scene work. Yes, melodious music does add to the scene, but the basic thing that matters the most is the chemistry of the couple. As long as the chemistry is there, even the plainest of songs can be made to sound appealing. And even the most romantic of songs wont be any good in creating chemistry between a couple that has none. Thus why, I enjoyed the picturizations of PM's 'Kabhi Na Sukoon Aaya' and Shiv-Gauri's (IQ-Pallavi) 'Mere Pyaar Ki Umar' and even AR's 'Ishq Leta Hai' more than say a 'Pehli Nazar mein' (showed in that rani show) and a 'Tum Se hi' (Ranbir-Kanya) even though I prefer the latter songs more. Because they had one imptt thing - CHEMISTRY. This explains why even though I infinitely prefer 'Khabar Nahin' to 'Jaage Jaage' I enjoyed the picturization of the latter way more than the former....

So yes....while I prefer Khabhar Nahin as a song....MN saved the abomination filled parts of jaage jaage thru their chemistry.....SG basically continue to get great bg music, songs etc. etc.....but in the end, it still never helps matters much since the base chemistry is not able to come out.

^Yeah honestly now that I think of it, I don't get the fuss around the songs... I'm just thinking all the couples I liked before MN had some really un-commercial tunes... Like PM with their 'Kabhi Na Sukoon Aaya' or say NP/MP with their 'Chaha Humne Tujhe' (Oh how I lovedddd that track) and also Shiv-Gauri's 'Mere Pyaar Ki Umar' and and and Sujal-Kashish's 'Thoda-Sa-Pyar-Hua-Hai'

But what I do mind is creating horrible tunes on couples... Like for example that 'do jaan' song for MN, and also that weird arabian New Year song!
